  1. My all time favorite band is Pink Floyd… I literally listen to them every day at some point.
This is how I’m feeling now about the state of the program. The first part of “Hey You” really resonates with me right now…lol

    enjoy….

Hey you, out there in the cold
    Getting lonely, getting old
    Can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisles
With itchy feet and fading smiles
    Can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light
    Don't give in without a fight….

You realize it’s not some big conspiracy right? The folks that claim he’s getting preferential treatment in conference play  either don’t realize or forget that they didn’t lose in non-conference against one of the hardest schedules in the country. We can win ugly if we have to.

The Sycamores deserve a bid way before we do.  We're only getting in if we win the BTT.

Our chances of winning the first game will be tough without Galloway, let alone the whole thing.
However, I think we could get in with 3 wins, (This is with a healthy Galloway) based on the selection committee taking team injuries into consideration.

I was told he was out for the rest of the season. Let's hope it's not true.

If so, it’s extremely unfortunate. However, this gives X a monster opportunity to show he can help this team moving forward. You could tell at the end of the Michigan State game that he was satisfied we won, but the look on his face showed how disappointed he was in his overall performance. Had we lost that game, he would have taken the brunt of that, even though Trey was hurt. It was definitely bitter sweet. His overall play was awful, but his positioning and last play save the win.

We need to be a little thicker-skinned, then. We could just, you know, listen to AL.

He's a human, he's allowed to have an opinion, a voice.

This just goes to show you how some kids feel about their coach and what he/she does for them. That's what is most important to them,....that they're happy and feel they're in the right place.

I was super surprised with the support what they said about Coach Woodson and the current state.

It's no secret that I feel we need a change in direction and a fresh voice to this team, but it's not up to me. At this point, I will just have to wish for the best and a stellar off season recruitment in the portal. It has to be that way as well as some new and improved assistant coaches and hopefully an improved Coach Woodson. That's a lot of positive changes needed for this team. Who knows what will happen.... I also wouldn't be surprised it at the end of the season, Dolson comes out and makes a change.

Just finished re-watching the MSU game, and we had no reason to win it. We are so fundamentally flawed it's disgusting.

Lazy passes, no look passes that aren't close to anybody, sloppy passes, telegraphed passes. 16 turnovers, and the bulk of them were shitty passes.

NOBODY knows how to block out for a rebound except Leal. Mgbako and Reneau don't have a clue how to block out. MSU got 12 offensive rebounds, vast majority because no IU guy put a body on their man. Maybe we should hire Izzo to teach our guys how to block out...

And we don't call out screens at all. Leal got mugged the entire game because nobody called them out to him. Puts us at a real disadvantage when we don't hedge that screen.

And speaking of screens, we also don't know how to set one, nor does our ball handler know how to rub his guy off of it.

But hey...what do I know? I'm just a true fan....

True fans understand the IU’s misfortunes and don’t complain about the team like you just did…lol😉

What I can’t grasp is by coming out in support of Woodson you’re saying “we trust he’s the man for the job.”

That puts your neck on the line with him. Even more so.

    Why??? Why do that??

I'm sure some students will try to smuggle in "Please Retire, Coach Woodson!" signs to the game Sunday.

There are still things Woodson has done, let's say.. things Woodson has worn... that have been extremely off-putting at alumni events. And I will leave it at that.

I don't think he was hired because he's black, though, I think he was hired because we are dumb.

    ....we, meaning admin. lol

I know what you mean C.😉

But he has no self-awareness.  He just has to know he isn't the right guy for the job.  He has to.  He's also past retirement age.  So go into Dolson's office and negotiate a retirement package.  Bow out gracefully.

Part of the reason the fans go nuts is we've seen time and time again that the administration simply can't or isn't willing to fix things themselves.  Or they simply wait many years too long. Fans therefore feel they have to take matters into their own hands.  Create such a toxic environment that he can't possibly succeed and force a firing.

If the administration would simply go out and hire a big name coach this would all go away.

....this IS the overlying issue! He so wants to be the guy that bridged the gap between the old and the new as well as being a former Coach Knight stud bring relevance back to IU again. I know deep down inside this is what his dream is to do, but it is not going to happen, that ship has sailed......

It's been said over and over again, but this is truly a "dead man walking" situation if this ship isn't righted.

I can’t think of a school that self sabotages itself in any sport like IU does, in terms of a school that could be good but the keystone cops prevent it.

How can Quinn think that this is going to help his beloved IU? This could quite possibly be his most memorable legacy as opposed to his lofty IU bb career.

We have the biggest recruiting budget and most NIL $ in the entire B1G.

But we also have the worst coach in the league and the dumbest administration in the whole country.  These things tend to balance themselves out.

    Exactly!…..

Junky trailer with a Ferrari in the driveway…. My analogy of your post!

Mike Woodson is the most incompetent college basketball coach I’ve ever seen. Once again Walsh got Liam to commit and then Woodson bailed and Liam decommitted.

....There certainly has to be light at the end of the deep cave IU admin has created. How can Dolson sit there and "watch this ship continue to take on water, listing more and more each week?"

The players do talk and I can't image a player or multiple players have been let their feeling known. I feel at this rate, some of these guy are playing for themselves and trying to improve their stock for other suitors. JMO
