As much as I hate to say anything positive about Purdue BB, Painter always manages to get the best out of his players during the regular season. If I were Purdue I would be super excited. I just wonder if Woody would have been around sooner, would he have been able to land some of those “in-state recruits”. Coach AM really put a divide between some of those potential IU players.

Either Purdue is better than expected or Gonzaga and Duke are just not that good this year…..including UNC.

One would have to say if Allen struggles again next year…… his contract will most likely get bought out.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the improved OL play since Cary took over.

First I pray and wish for a full speedy recovery to Dexter! Next, I pray we can keep key playmakers and they don’t decide to transfer…..

I’m so frustrated for Dex….. I really thought his being injured would really motivate the team, especially Ballsack.

Man, the one guy doing the commentating for the game (Brian Butch) sounds like a young Dick Vitale.

I hate that for him… I really liked him at IU. He obviously wouldn’t be starting at IU, but he would definitely come off the bench for some minutes….

Phinesee just came in, turned it over and the went back to the bench… I wonder if he’s regretting his decision to leave IU?

You mean Louisville wasted all that money on players, coaches and staff to fly out to beautiful, Hawaii for that kind of output?!? Unbelievable!!!! I know these kind of things are scheduled well in advance, but wow….. Crean’s first year team (full of starting walk ons) at IU would have them for lunch!

Obviously, Purdue's game plan will be to load the box, stop the run and force Dexter to use his arm. I sure feel much better about IU with a mobile QB! If we can somehow make some meaningful throws against Purdue.....that opens up the run. Pick you poison.

right, right..... but a bowl, "play 13" would be a nice Christmas present.....

I know I'm wishful thinking about a bowl this year. That ship has sailed. It's almost impossible for IU to be considered for bowl, even if we beat Purdew Saturday and finish with a 5-7 record. Again, wishful thinking on my part. What a great story that would be.
