  1. So he finally is ready to break someone’s heart!
  2. If I had to choose,…… I think I would much rather get beat @ #22 Wisconsin by 5 even after leading by 22 points in the first half, then being newly ranked #1 and getting beat at unranked, 4-4 Rutgers by 2……THAT stings.
  3. I know…. Me too. I got two alerts on my Apple Watch during the game. One saying “ I need to take a few minutes to breathe” and the second one saying “elevated heart rate!” 😳🤣
  4. So your done cussin’ at the TV?😆
  5. …..Again, this post is another reason why I don’t listen to or take serious these negative posts from people who are never if rarely are ever on here….
  6. Well said Scott! It’s sure funny how many of us Ol’ Regulars are on here everyday through the good and bad. I sure as hell am not gonna listen to or take serious those negative, combative posters we NEVER see on this message board.
  7. I’m with you on this one Scott. I put blame all around the team. We missed way to many free throws, and X was trying to do too much. He was easily getting inside with his ball handling but was out of control too much, late in the game. We had way too many open shots and good looks and missed bunnies and free throws that just wouldn’t go down. Also, Wisconsin started hitting shots. All those things lead to the ultimate, perfect storm. Let this be a huge lesson to CMW and this team, to NEVER , EVER let your foot off the glass. What gets me though is how people come out of the woodwork with firey torches. This game was ours for the taking but we gave it away…totally unexceptable! But……I can’t stand when people come on here and act like someone p!$$ed in there Wheaties!!! Look, I’m furious too, but THIS TEAM IS NOT the “same old team”, CMW is the right guy for this job! Don’t forget to give Wisconsin little credit…You best believe a team with CMW, Dane Fife, Yasir Rosemond and Thad Matta as coaches for this team, … a game like this won’t happen again.
  8. The first thing I do when I see that kinda stuff, is check how many posts they have and if they’re new. 🧐😂
  9. ^^^^^this guy….tell us how you really feel. I’m surprised a moderator hasn’t chimed in to compliment you on your honest and insightful opinion.
  10. You’re hilarious!!!! I have zero desire to do Twitter, Facebook, Titok or Instagram..lol I just like to look for nuggets of info. This is my only choice of social media. 🤓🧐
  11. I know we all wanted a big splash about a new OC. For whatever reason IU and Coach Allen are staying low key about it, I trust Coach Allen. All I know is Coach Allen and Coach Bell are out recruiting hard. I also realize IU’s interest in former Oregon QB commit isn’t new news, but a commit sure would be nice for Bell and Allen coming out of the gate.
  12. Anyone else, besides me, wondering why the new OC hasn't been named official yet? It's supposed to be today, if I'm not mistaken.
  13. It's posts like this that.........I, I just can't. This is the best response I have for this guy.
  14. Looks like the roller coaster ride has begun....... When Bell is official, he #1 job is to pitch and sell is philosophy to the current team/roster and commits, then hit the portal/recruiting trail hard.
  15. I trust Coach Allen and his abilities to find the right coaches. I wouldn’t be surprised if Coach Allen looks for some new position coaches after this hire. He knows how he wants his offense to look and it’s obvious “up tempo and spread”.
  16. I am very curious about Bell, for obvious reasons, so I found a few things to help "paint the picture" a bit. Here are a few things from the hoosierhuddle article. Rather, what exactly might we expect from his offense at Indiana? What might the Hoosiers look like in 2022 on that side of the ball? It is impossible to simplify an offensive scheme down to one phrase. There are so many variables and different formations that can make up an offensive game plan that just calling an offense one phrase is often inadequate. That being said, at it’s simplest, Walt Bell has relied on an up-tempo “power spread” in his previous stops. Bell likes for his offense to move with tempo and he prefers to operate from the shotgun the majority of the time with an emphasis on running the ball. This seem the opposite of Sheridan, which is refreshing. Now, with the right guys to build around this "game plan/philosophy", it could be very fun to watch. It seem very similar to a Wilson lead offense. https://hoosierhuddle.com/hoosier-blog/ringing-the-bell-what-to-make-of-the-hoosiers-new-offensive-coordinator/2021/12/6
  17. Well, when it becomes official, that's when we'll see what kind of STOCK Bell has on the recruiting trail. He will definitely have an uphill climb. I'm looking forward to watching as this whole thing progresses.
  18. ….I mean, what is there to say? I not surprised, nor am I really disappointed. Something tells me, he realizes (even fully healthy), his stock has dropped at IU among the current and incoming QB’s.
  19. Looking forward to watching IU women’s at Assembly Hall vs. NC State tonight! ESPN2 @ 7 pm Go IU!
  20. Wow,…..good question. I didn’t catch that?
