  1. I take ZERO credit for the post below, but I thought it is an absolute microcosm to the current state of our offense. I just thought it was short, to the point, transparent and brutally honest. So the problem with the offense was that they were facing 3rd and 12 rather that 3rd and 2. Going backward on first down is bad. Everyone needs to play better. Looks like the problems are solved!
  2. I knew about Hines contract extension when I was typing, but Mack is basically on "showcase" every game.
  3. The cycling in of a fresh, effective RB is a good reason Taylor is strong the duration of the game. The use of Hines and and an occasional Mack makes for a great rushing attack for the Colts. The issue is keeping everyone happy and paid. The better Hines and Mack look, the more teams are going to want to pluck them away.
  4. This caught my eye..... I found this at the end of an article on Peegs today. We will see. I just hope it's not too late. A shakeup may finally happen this Saturday in Maryland. 10COMMENTS Michigan transfer Zach Carpenter (So./center/guard), Aidan Rafferty (Jr./tackle), Tim Weaver (So./guard), Charlie O'Connor (Jr./center) and Randy Holtz (RS Fr/tackle) are reserve linemen that did see some on the field action against Ohio State. "Just going through [the film], I felt like even just watching it again, we're going to go through and look at even just some -- making some -- if we have to make some movements there to get some other guys involved and just to be able to address as guys continue to develop throughout the season," Allen said.
  5. That is the exactly what I feel will eventually happen to highly mobile, Raven's QB, Lamar Jackson. I love watching him play. It reminds me of how exciting Randle El was at IU. It's going to take one unfortunate hit or aggressive tackle while eluding tacklers and his game is dramatically changed. I pray it doesn't happen.
  6. I thought the exact thing!......It also shows the disconnect the previous staff had with the history of IU.
  7. Great place to eat! Back in the early 90’s they had a killer pork chop sandwich!
  8. Hate to say it, but it’s true…..I feel the state of this year’s OL is partially if not totally responsible for the current state of our QBs…
  9. Again… listened to CTA’s post game with Don Fisher and obviously very disappointed, but could tell from his limited responses that he felt they had zero chance of winning that game after Jack went down. He said we hit a buzz saw tonight and the rain didn’t help. IMO, If I were Sheridan or Hiller, I would be checking the wanted ads soon.
  10. I would love to see CTA make a change right now. It show’s he’s had enough
  11. I like when the announcer said Ryan Day switched Defensive Coordinators after they got beat by Oregon. Our O-line is so bad and play calling is so vanilla and predictable…. I sure hope CTA puts big boy pants on in the off season and finds a new a OC and O-line Coach….He has to be thinking this…
  12. Yep…. It just doesn’t seem real…. I can’t help but think, some of those students walk around campus with their nose in air. I remember back in the 80’s, a rich kid at Martinsville high school driving a brand knew Datsun 280z that his parents bought him for his birthday. He walked around that school with his “popped” Izod collars, acid washed-peg legged jeans and boat shoes.
  13. What!!??......A few drips!!!?? Turn the d@mn thing off!!! Shut 'er down.
  14. I was waiting for someone to post this awesome quote!
  15. Remember this scene? One of my all time favorite 80's movies! It reminds me of all those players with a BIG $$$ NIL endorsement...😲🤣
  16. If I’m an 18 and up college player being offered to drive one of those fancy cars, I’d surely oblige…. I just can’t help to see it completely different from the other side. I just don’t have good feel about it, especially something THAT expensive!
  17. Xavier Booker @RealXman23 Thank you to @MikeWoodsonNBA @CoachDaneFife @Coach_KHunter and the rest of the staff for the great official visit I love that number 23! Very "Smart" choice! 😉 11:07 AM · Oct 22, 2021·Twitter for iPhone
  18. Agree….the one thing that concerns me is when players transfer from the side of the ball that’s struggling. My mind immediately goes to the coaches (who’s players, play calling and preparedness) specific to that area, are suspect….. I often wonder if a different coach, a better coach could have seen something in those players and end up helping the team… just thinking out loud.
  19. I'm ashamed to admit...... with many back and forth decisions, I finally caved and sold my 4 tickets w/ 2 parking passes to this game. I have no good reason or explanation. I'm disappointed with myself..... I'm hoping and praying I made a very poor decision.
