  1. This offense reminds me of when Mike DeBord was the OC… It improved dramatically the next year after he stepped down when they hired Kalen DeBoer…Man, I miss Kalen.
  2. Hopefully CTA created a stir with the OL coaches and gave them brutally honest evaluations. I’ve said it before….Coach Allen has looked very frustrated and appears to be chewing on a Coach about a play call at times when the camera has zoomed in on him.
  3. I would imagine Curry will attend this Saturday’s game? It sure would be a good sign seeing him on the IU side watching the game…. It doesn’t mean he will come to IU, but it sure makes our chances a little better…
  4. I said it last week before Saturday's game,......Donaven McCulley is the one QB on our depth chart that I am most intrigued by.
  5. Mike Pegram @peegs Per Tom Allen today, certainly sounds like we'll see more of Donaven McCulley at QB moving forward. The true frosh from Lawrence North played for the first time in limited duty against MSU. #iufb 12:05 PM · Oct 18, 2021·TweetDeck
  6. I can’t believe this is the same guy!!! Wow, what happened to Hiller?😳 When he was hired, those ranking were very respectful and impressive…I can’t help but think that looking at his photo in 2017, he looked fit and athletic. I also feel athletes are very cognizant and receptive to a coach leading by example, both physically and mentally. For the past handful of years I have thought Hiller looked unhealthy, unkempt and sluggish. Don’t be offended, but It reminds me of an unhealthy and over weight P. E. teacher barking out orders and making students run extra laps for not working hard enough. I’m not saying this is the case for Coach Hiller, but something is drastically missing here.
  7. Sheridan and Hiller👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
  8. Yep…. That list got you wishful thinking too….
  9. Honestly, this crop of QBs is pretty impressive…. I’m most intrigued by the future of McCulley from this entire list…
  10. Honestly, Tuttle starting, makes me feel better about our chances. I’m just not ready for a continuation of 2021’s Penix 2.0. I want the Penix that IU loved and most all teams dreaded preparing for….If there is still gas in the tank…and I know there is plenty, I hope and pray for Penix’s strong and impactful return. CTA and staff, can’t keep giving chances to a QB who continues to show reservations and reluctance during a game. They may be seeing good things in practice, but the games show the complete opposite.
  11. I know the real reason William Shatner is so afraid of going up into space on the “Blue Origin” rocket…….🤓 He’s afraid he won’t come back down because of this ‘ol friend…🧐🤣🤣🤣
  12. Why does Duke Tomatoe’s, “Lord Help or Colts” song keep flying around my head like a pesky gnat????
  13. It was a matter of time. He was a “dead man walking”. There was no way he was gonna survive that dumpster fire!!
  14. What’s this about? Some BIG IU news possibly happening tomorrow ? Some players are retweeting that it’s big news… Very interesting…🧐
  15. I was thinking the same thing........I'm like, "Quit being so sensitive!" Good grief! So many of these player have been coddled so much and put up on a pedestal they can never live up to. I'm not saying this is the case here, but man..... Give me an "under the radar" coachable, work horse who will always own up.
  16. Can't blame a coach for that......It is what it is....If Baldwin holds onto the ball vs. Cincy, we most likely score and potentially win game.
  17. Coach Allen HAS to notice the dramatic regression from popular and successful IU OC, Kalen DeBor to current OC, Nick Sheridan….. Coach Allen quickly found new OC, DeBor after former OC, Mike DeBord retired. I feel DeBord and Sheridan are cut from the same tree. This has got to be an area of focus this off season. I wouldn’t be surprised if the OL performance and play calling continued a downward spiral this season, that Coach Allen fires Sheridan or Hiller at the end of the season, if not before it’s over. It’s just a gut feeling I’ve had for some time. I’ve noticed several times after a particular poor offensive play call or set from IU, the camera zooms in on Coach Allen and he’s visibly frustrated, appearing to be questioning certain play calls. I was trying to read his lips one particular time and I swear he said, “What the HECK was that???” In all his post game interviews with Fisher, Coach Allen keeps shouldering the blame for IU’s problems this year, as any good coach should. He keeps repeating the same thing, “ Our coaches have got to do a better job of coaching and preparing these player, … and it starts with me, I’m the head coach.” I think he’s very pleased with all the coaches on the defensive side of the ball. I don’t think he’s confident with the job Sheridan and Hiller have done.
  18. He has too…. Hiller and Sheridan have made the OC regress
  19. If Penix is eventually cleared…. I still like how Tuttle has played much better. The offense actually looks faster
  20. This has to be addressed in the off season….
  21. Yup. State’s #53….. That’s what Coach Allen was freaking out about…..just terrible missed calls
