  1. Nope.....all due respect, CTA is what Indiana needs and has longed for. There is a lot of blame and finger pointing going on right now, especially from the fans. I'm sure it's "slithering" it's way throughout the team. CTA has to be that buffer and ward off that "devil whispering in your ear" mentality. Good coaches know a team needs new direction and don't worry about hurt feelings or stepping on toes when making personnel changes. CTA has been around this game long enough to know when something is not working. He went out and made a strong statement by hiring Coach Warren and Coach McCullough for the defensive side of the ball. I feel with his connections he can go out and get the right offensive minds along with the beef to back it up.
  2. If I were Hiller and Sheridan, I would be feeling like that punter sitting all by himself after missing the game winning field goal,….. for the second game in a row.
  3. CTA’s #1, main objective after every game is to keep his team together mentally. Listening to both his post game interviews, you can really tell this season has taken a huge toll on HIM mentally too. His voice is more quiet and his words are filled with inner misery and disbelief. After witnessing CTA bark at Sheridan on National TV last night and then reference that incident in a post game interview, tells a lot.
  4. ….in the East. Where would we be if we were in the West? I know we would be better
  5. Really sucks that this game knocks us from a bowl bid…
  6. I will have to admit, OBJ is a big name/big talent player, but when I saw that link for the top 6 possible landing spots for OBJ, I cringed a bit hoping we weren’t on it. Social media can destroy lives and careers.
  7. When “already rostered” players are shopping themselves around while trashing their team, I have zero interest in him/her. They will eventually do it to the next team.
  8. I don’t care how talented a player is and how much he/she can help a team, …….Once he/she starts pulling &h*t like that, they’re never happy and become a cancer! Those kind of players can completely destroy team chemistry!
  9. OMG....same!!!! I get cold chills when that wooden popsicle stick scrapes across my teeth!!!😖
  10. Let me correct what I meant to say...... I felt they let off the gas a bit on defense during the second half..... We stayed strong and tough up front, I just felt they played the pass a bit more soft the second half. They kept their foot mashed down on offense.
  11. Agree...The game was Over early. I don't particularly care for the few extra Jets scores, but I feel Colts let off the gas as they felt the game was never gonna be in jeopardy. I still don't like our defense allowing late game 1st downs, extra yardage and scoring, even with a sizeable cushion........which ended up being only 15 pts.
  12. Those are legal speeds you can do on the Autobahn…..
  13. His Corvette was going that fast??? I didn’t realize those could reach those speeds!!!
  14. Yep,......I emphasized the obvious above...I have felt this way the entire season..... Doyel from Indy Star on the other hand is a tool, IMHO... As soon as I see his name addressed on any negatively charged IU, Pacers or Colts articles, I don't even waste my time reading it.
  15. Totally agree......That game was ours to win. For the most part we outplayed the Titans. Regretful 4th and 3 call that should have been punted and the carless turnover/pick 6 in OT. Straighten a few things out, get some players back healthy then we aren't talking about "walking papers" and Wentz few INT's.
  16. Man, I love your sarcasm…..😂😂😂 I love speaking to my kids in a “Steven Wright” straight-face, sarcastic voice. Humor, comedy and student laughter has made my job fun……
  17. See,….. that’s what I’m talking about! I know I may be looking through crimson colored glasses, but my goodness,…..how could ANYONE turn down an opportunity to play at Indiana University and for such a LOADED coaching staff as IU’s. Something tells me that in the near future when it comes to recruiting, Coach Woodson and Co. will be like “shooting fish in a barrel!”🤩
  18. Who already “are” on IU team….🧐🤓 Sorry Scott,…..being a high school teacher for almost 30 years, I had to bite on that. I just couldn’t look away.😆😬
  19. I hate to hear that about ANY player… Way too much gifted talent. Could this unfortunate injury add some unexpected/unfortunate loses to the Titans? I know they have talent elsewhere, but Henry is a big part of their record….(excluding yesterday’s game). Maybe a small window for Colts?
  20. I found this bit of scrimmage info on another IU message board..... Per a rick bozich tweet on Btownbanners: My secret source says Indiana beat Belmont in secret scrimmage at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville today. IU’s magic number was 11. Hoosiers won by 11. Made 11 of 11 free throws and played 11 guys. IU 8 for 23 from distance and out-rebounded Belmont by 8. Sounds encouraging. As previously mentioned, Belmont is no push-over and I don't want to de-value the scrimmage but its all the other stuff they do that can make for a valuable practice session. Hopefully IU performed well in those controlled situations.
  21. So if we don’t get Noah, we’ll move on to the next one…..I have WAY more confidence in our ENTIRE coaching staff, their abilities and what they individually bring to this program than any from the previous group. I will continue to say this till I’m blue in the face,……. as soon as a desired recruit decides against committing and playing for this storied program, I could care less about him.
  22. Good ol’ Hee Haw!! Watched that with my Papaw in the 70’s.
  23. He will be very busy evaluating his coaching staff as well. It took only 2 years with DeBord and CTA made the change. It was a needed departure agreed on by both parties. This is Sheridan’s second year as well with no improvement. The writing is on the wall.
