  1. Another great finish with Tennessee/Texas. Some clutch free throws at the end kept it from getting truly interesting, but the pressure was on.
  2. Bob Knight left Indiana in the mid 90s for his favorite fishing spot. It's all a question of what motivates people.
  3. If he's doing well at Michigan when we move on from Woodson, we poach him like Texas poached Beard from Texas Tech
  4. Somebody needs to check on Ant Wright. Stay with him tonight. Make sure he's going to be okay.
  5. On the inbound, it wasn't over and back. You can throw it in anywhere in the court. Townsend tipped it, but never had possession before it went over.
  6. Everyone's gonna want Townsend after this run.
  7. Getting back to March Madness. How can you not root for this guy?
  8. JHS torched Edey, and he's basically replacement level in the NBA. Edey might go in the first round because this is a disastrously weak draft class, but if that's my team I'm distraught at the waste of a pick.
  9. Finally a fun game. Haven't been a lot of close contests this Tournament, but Oakland and NC State is a real fun back and forth affair.
  10. Going to see the Braves, targeting Tuesday 9/17. It'd be an evening game, 6:10. For Indians games here in Indy we usually sit along the third base line.
  11. I saw RJ Davis play in Westfield, back when he, Caleb Love, Nijel Pack and others were all Indiana targets. Really liked his game then, and he's shown it in his college career.
  12. Reds heads, where do you like to sit in Great American? Planning a trip for September.
  13. Sara Scalia hit her 100th three of the season today, extending her record for most in any Indiana Women's season. She's making 43.5% on 230 attempts. Scalia is a star, and she'll be missed next season every bit as much as Mack. I don't often like comparing the women to the men. I think the former should be appreciated in their own right. But this stat illustrates well why the women are a better watch than the men: Mackenzie Mgbako is the only men's player to even attempt more than the 100 threes Sara has made in fewer games (Trey Galloway took exactly 100).
  14. I don't really care for either program, but Gonzaga is probably the least worst option over Kansas. Plus I think they'll give Purdue a better game in the next round, especially with McCullar out.
  15. Just needed to shake some rust off, it seems.
  16. Former band kid here, I love stories like this. It's a bond shared across schools, for sure.
  17. Really fun up and down game. Indiana picked things up defensively to close out the second and stopped allowing as many drives. Assembly Hall sounds on fire!
  18. Edey has already announced this is his final year in college.
  19. I am so very tired of watching Edey ball. I'm tired of his swinging elbows, of his walking through people with impunity. I'm tired of the Big Ten style of basketball Edey embodies, and I know it won't end when he leaves, but I'll be very glad to at least have him gone.
  20. It's a landlocked state. They only have a big lake.
  21. Purdue starting to make many of the same silly mistakes we saw last year. Balls bouncing right off guys. If this stays close, how soon until they start to pucker?
  22. Almost twelve minutes in, and Purdue gets whistled for their first foul. After multiple Grambling players knocked to the floor. College officiating is a vibes based business, performed entirely on reputation.
  23. Attention fully turned to Duke Vermont. I've spent many a winter in Vermont, and Burlington is a neat place. Would be one of my favorite upsets ever if this happens.
