  1. Probably not IU relevant anymore but newsworthy at least, and his own thread is locked:
  2. Awesome trip! Too bad the beer wasn't better, but there's always fun and worth in trying new things. Every brewpub has it's own charm.
  3. The potential significance here, though, is those games all came at the end of the year. It's not unusual for freshmen to hit a wall. Certainly that's part of what cooked Purdue against FDU. Braden Smith shot only 25% the last seven games of his freshman year. He was over 40% before that stretch, and for his entire sophomore year after. And Braden wasn't playing his freshman year having just finished chemo.
  4. Great news! It's been too long since we've had real dudes in the back court. This sure looks like the first step toward changing that
  5. I would guess it would mean someone else will soon be joining the '24-'25 roster.
  6. Twas what Mgbako posted, just before he announced he was returning...
  7. Philosophy was one of my majors at IU. Logic was a breeze. 😁
  8. Being on an IU message board reminds you of growing up with IU fans? Where do you think you are?
  9. Kentucky just lost their top recruit, Jayden Quaintance, following Karter Knox. Feels like a matter of time before Boogie Fland and Somto Cyril do the same. I think Arkansas's roster is literally empty, though, so might be a good chance most of them follow Calipari.
  10. Archie wanted him bad, wonder if Morton winds up at Rhode Island.
  11. This shit's even better than flight tracking. 😄
  12. Hey folks. I'm booking a quick trip for St Louis in June. Seeing the zoo, aquarium at Union Station, botanical gardens. I'm looking for fun places to eat and to stay. Let me know if you have any recommendations, especially for brewpubs and breakfast in and around those areas. Thanks!
  13. I'd guess it was known that his coach would be leaving at the end of the year, given the season Indiana State was having.
  14. Fletcher Loyer yelling after taking a charge vs. Fletcher Loyer trying to get that call by falling to the ground when someone gets too close:
  15. What would be the point? He'd be at least a year too late. Furst didn't transfer when Edey was coming back, and stuck around to play fewer minutes as a junior than he did as a freshman. If he's happy with that, why wouldn't he stick around to back up Will Berg?
  16. Hey, apology accepted. It's a rare thing to see contrition in an online space, so thank you, it's appreciated! Wishing the best for you, and I hope you get to a place you want to be.
  17. Was in the path of totality. I had my glasses on, took them off when the last sliver of sun vanished and gasped. It was literally breathtaking. Didn't take pictures, but the ones I've seen don't capture that feeling at all. It was surreal. Lived up to the hype.
  18. Seeing clips of fans in the streets after their Final Four win bright back my memories of being a student in '02, packing Kirkwood after each win. Incredible fun. I'm happy they got those moments. And I hope it ends exactly the same way, with a runner-up finish and tear gas sending everyone home.
  19. Aaron Bradshaw is the first Wildcat into the portal. Kel'el Ware should give him a call.
  20. If IU Basketball has you so jaded that you're embracing troll quotes from Rutger players, rather than laughing at a joke at Calipari's expense, it may be time for you to find a new hobby.
  21. When the four game deal between Kentucky and Indiana was announced, we didn't think there was any way Cal would stick around long enough to coach in that fourth game at Assembly Hall. Turns out, he ran from having to play Indiana at all, even at Rupp.
  22. Sure, seems likely. And I'm not certain a freshman Boogie Fland is better option than some of the portal guards we're after. But it would be quite a turn if our '24 class ends up with two five stars, after so recently having no one at all.
