  1. The Best French Fry Resteraunt in each State. I think three of my arteries shut down just reading it! https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/the-best-french-fry-restaurant-in-every-state/ss-BBY3F65?ocid=spartanntp
  2. Actually have to say, this is one of the more interesting lists yet! I am a huge fan of ethnic cuisine, and it seems many of these selections are ethnic, not your traditional American buffet selection!
  3. By the way Rico, in acceptance of your challenge, can't wait for my order of Skyline, Gold Star and Steak and Shake chili cans from Amazon so I can tell you MY chili is superior!!
  4. Somehow, I thought we already did this one! However, going back through the previous pages which I enjoyed very much, here is the Best Resteraunt Buffet in each State! https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/the-best-restaurant-buffet-in-every-state/ss-BBPGmP1?ocid=spartandhp Have to say the GA choice is only a block away from my cardiologists office, I wonder if he would recommend it? 😄
  5. Not exactly best in each state list but close. Best Subs, Grinders and Hoagies! https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/50-best-subs-grinders-and-hoagies-across-america/ss-BBYgOjy?ocid=spartandhp
  6. Sounds like a great grilled cheese! If only the writer had known. Tell you what, send me one and I will vote you best in the nation!😎
  7. Speaking of KFC, I hadn’t been to one in years either, but since good fried chicken is hard to find in Russia I took my friend to KFC there. They didn’t have original recipe? Is that true here in the states as well? One thing they surprisingly did have, beer on tap!
  8. Rarely, burrito XXL when I do! Looking forward to trying a Qudoba they’re building close by! However I usually go for the family owned Mexican restaurant!

  15. Got home after the holidays and realized I didn't have anything cooked for the week. So I now have some Chili in the slow cooker for overnight! Thought came to mind, can you overcook chili? I mean it always seems the longer it cooks the better, but again can you overcook chili? As I type this, a funny family anecdote comes to mind. Was going to heat up some leftover chili in the microwave and commented to my brother I was going to nuke it. My brother being an IU grad in physics and having worked at Lawrence Livermore Laboratories for the Atomic Energy Commission said where I come from Nuking takes on a whole new connotation!
  16. Thanks mile for the input during the Thanksgiving doldrums! Unfortunately, they are way out of my price range! 😕Really do appreciate though, everything you do here! I think of you as a close friend! More in my price range. Most charming old fashioned diner of each state! https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/foodnews/the-most-charming-old-fashioned-diner-in-every-state/ss-BBXF74R?ocid=spartandhp
  17. So once again in the discussion, under the many California links above is In-N-Out. Flying out tomorrow to have Thanksgiving with the Grand Kids. I am going to have to highly suggest we stop at In-N-Out so that Grandpa can experience one of California's most famous foods. Or maybe if we can find our way to Pink's! Kind of like when I was in Chicago for my Son and Daughter-in-laws wedding, going to Portillo's!😀
  18. This has got to be the best list yet, as each state has a link to a whole new list for each state. https://www.foodnetwork.com/restaurants/packages/best-food-in-america
  19. Okay this is a different best Thanksgiving recipe for each State. I think I like this list better. https://www.food.com/ideas/regional-state-thanksgiving-food-6457?nl=GKW_112219_sub4img&bid=18642414&c32=99ffbb33ad7cf260dce618b7fb11ef62bd9633ee&ssid=0000_FC_HEADER&sni_by=1953&sni_gn=Male#c-405016

  24. I know we already had a best burger list but that was from 2016, this list is 4 days old and from a different source https://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/restaurantsandnews/your-guide-to-the-best-burger-spots-in-america/ss-BBWKWgA?ocid=spartandhp I only saw two duplicates!
  25. With the colder weather settling in the last couple of weeks, I thought I would try some new chili recipes. I was a little reprehensive with this one as it has some non standard ingredients like mustard, ketchup and lime juice, but OMG I just threw away the old stand bye recipe I've had for several decades! https://www.food.com/recipe/kellys-chili-50732 Didn't have any bell peppers and my pot was too full to even put the onion in, I used Chipotle pepper for my premium pepper and Garlic Salt instead of the garlic powder and salt. Just used a can of crushed tomatoes for the tomatoes but everything else was per the recipe! So HSN what is your award winning CHILI recipe
