Do we get another shooter or hold it
I don't think we need to be hunting shooters now. Goode and Mgbako are likely high % 3 point guys. Carlyle had strong stats regarding catch and shoot 3 point shots. Rice is respectable.
Imo, we need big man depth (that's what she said, I know).
I am onboard with what @btownqb described.
Solid athletic big that knows and play that role aggressively.

To be fair, the video posted overlapped both topics.
I know. Just keeping this from going too far down that road. It was clearly heading that way. 😁

Ummmmm, hit the HSN homepage. There you will see at least one, maybe two threads to debate the love, hate and indifference of Mile Woodson.
It's not that complicated guys. Thos is strictly about recruits. Not if Coach Woodson is going make them hall of famers or eat their babies.
Read thread title, post accordingly. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I don't know about Nix, but I can see it for Penix. Atlanta has their veteran QB (Cousins) under contract for a few more years. That gives Penix time to sit and watch, listen, learn and absorb all he can from a solid starter. I think that is a benefit for him and the team both down the road.
Penix has the talent. But I am trying to think of a college quarterback that was so injury prone, yet went onto a long healthy NFL career.
It's possible, but risky to draft that high imo.
Although I 100% am pulling for him. I am definitely a Penix fan.

Sisley is from an IU family and wants to commit….but something or someone….has them concerned?
Who says he wants to commit?
If he wanted to commit, he would commit.

I feel like depending on who you ask, the range of what makes a team/program elite can differ widely. I think the last 3+ years, we’ve been an elite team/program. Remains to be seen if we can maintain it.
Good for you.

No agenda. Oversight and several threads floating around. Just happened that way.
At least we have it down to a thread or two. 🤷♂️

A lot of people just don't think people with different opinions should be able to voice said opinion.
I'm in a facebook group for IU fans and not sure how many times you get the "you're not a coach" hogwash response. Apparently having experience as a coach is required in order to post...well only if you're critical. If you like Woodson then no coaching experience necessary. Guess we can thank Leal for leading that charge. Of course, that's mixed in with the "you're not a true fan" commentary.
It's funny how everybody is a victim. Nobody is saying you are not allowed to have an opinion. But if you post that opinion publicly, people are going to respond. That's just the way it is.
The problem comes when people care more about their opinion, and being "right" than they actually care about the program itself. It gets nonsensical.
And to be clear, I am not referring to you with that part, just a jumping off point for my opinion.
On another note, my opinion of Leal and coach's comment about certain fans is blown out of proportion.
Everybody is assuming they were referring to all fans that voice frustration or dusagreent.
My belief is it was geared more towards the lunatic vocal fringe that attacks players, makes it deeply personal. That's my opinion.
I do agree it was better off not being said at all, no argument there.

Goode
Physically, they're both the same size. Anderson's raw numbers are better, but Goode has spent the last 3 years in the B10 and will have a step up in terms of already knowing opponents schemes, nuances, etc.

Kelly wasn't really injury prone as much as he had a major injury and came back.
More importantly, if we have to go back 40 plus years to find an answer, it kinda helps my point. 😁
