And was doing it multiple ways!
8 threes in multiple ways?
Some behind the back? Called bank shot? Standing on his head? Blindfolded?
😝

If we got Conwell and Carlyle would Carlyle be ok not starting?
1. Who is to say Carlyle wouldn't have a chance to start?
2 I doubt @DC2345 has called Carlyle to ask that question. 😁

Shooting slumps happen...
Which is why I said wasn't at all concerned by it.
Here is a good little piece that shows who and what we are getting. 100% seems like a winner.

Take out those 7 games and Myles was a 33% 3 point shooter...
To be fair, it's hard to take out 7 games, that's a handful. Lol
With that said, I am not at all concerned by it.
It will likely improve, and he immediately makes us a little better.
Love this addition!

We normally see it in the summertime when he’s playing against grown men. I had him playing in Pro-Am leagues. So he’s played against guys like Quinn Cook. He’s played in a league here called the Kenner League, where as a 15-16 year-old he’s playing against grown men and averaging 20 points and seven rebounds because everything was pro rules.”😲
40 years ago, a 16 year old kid was doing the same thing, except it was playing against grown men out in back of the West Baden Springs hotel, right at shift change time for the bussers/kitchen staff. Kid learned the game, how to talk and how to back it up.
Larry something….can’t remember his name though….

Didn't handle the pressure from NC St guards that well the other night
That's one player having a bad game. That does not override a picture painted through 40 games.
And UCONN guards may ,and probably ly should, dominate. I don't thi k that means Purdue guards didn't handle pressure well. It would Ean UCONN is really really good..

The keys to this game seem rather apparent.
If Clingan is on the bench with two with 12 min to play in H1, they are in trouble.
How do the PU guards stand up to some legit pressure?
With all due respect, you dont win the BigTen regular season and reach the national title game without every player/position facing legit pressure.
I do agree, UCONN may be next level. But the mantra that Purdue guards can't handle pressure has kinda been dismantled all season.

Can Alabama beat purdue if they win? Who do I root for?
Both of these teams can beat Purdue. Purdue can beat both of these teams.

Yep. They do it the right way. They represent everything Indiana used to be.

My kids went to school with TKR. I've known TKR's grandparents for over 40 years. Sometimes people around you being happy is more important than a basketball rivalry.
No it's not.

That was about as poorly as I have seen Purdue play all year. And it never really felt like they were in any danger at all.

So we keep in line with the thread topic. I like gardening. I hope I have Powerball numbers that hit. I also buy thin mints or peanut butter cookies from girl scouts....additionally I'm an 80 or so golfer and today I saved .50cents a gallon on gas with my Kroger card.
Thanks again to those posters who can't keep their stuff in the appropriate threads. I've now joined your tribe since it's not being managed.
Trying to manage it as best I can. But some people try to either be funny or flippant and ignore the requests. 🤔

This might be the most exhausting thread ever created on HSN. 226 pages of this? No one can say Hoosier Nation doesn't care.
I'll say this once more...the problem with IU basketball goes way beyond Mike Woodson. I don't know if Woodson is the answer or not. I simply don't believe that hiring any particular coach fixes what's wrong with IU basketball...or IU for that matter.
As true as this seems to be, I am going to continuously get my hopes up until I take my last breath. It's an illness. Loo

I am admittedly a hater of Caitlyn Clark.
But dayum, she is absolutely a phenomenal player. Just flat out amazing.
And I hate it. 😂

Just follow the rules and directives, PLEASE!

Let's take this side discussion about Mike Woodson to the Mike Woodson thread.
