Just basic tickets with no graphics like previous years. Parking passes also included. I have no problem with the University saving some coin on the printing of tickets - just glad to have them "in hand" AND also electronically transferable from my online account!
Go Hoosiers!!!!!

Seems in years past it’s been announced around the 3rd week of August. I’m particularly interested in who our 2 early B10 games wil be against and where.
Go Hoosiers!!!!

Hopefully everyone has their parking passes - Cincinnati and OSU parking is sold out as of a couple days ago. Seems odd that parking sells out before the games do but that is indicative of a parking issue that should be addressed. I don’t think it’s a matter of folks buying parking passes only because as I recall you can’t buy one without also purchasing tickets. I could be wrong about that though.

At the end of selection today seat selection will be at the halfway point. It seems that so far folks are fornthe most part happy to have been able to either improve their seat locations or at least maintain position from last selection.
For season ticket holders on the board - weigh in and let us know how you make out.
Go Hoosiers!!!!

Just had a friend report that he selected seats early this afternoon and he was able to move down 17 rows in the same seat numbers as 2 years ago. He did make a fairly significant jump to Hoosier Hundred VC level from Hoosier Fan level.

Just a quick observation from an admittedly rather low number of data points but it seems as though those who increased their donations and jumped up to the next donor level have been able to improve their seating situation while those who stayed pat on donations are essentially getting seats near their last seat location. The good news in all of that is that folks so far are not disappointed by seat location erosion.

It never seems to end with IU basketball. There's always something that sets them back.
Under Crean you'd get to game day and the reports would come out of someone spotted in a walking boot. They planned an overseas trip and oops, someone didn't get the paper work required to allow them to travel.
Maybe it's nothing - just precautionary. But you do get tired of the feeling like the program is snake bit and you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
You mean you're always waiting for the other BOOT to drop.

Just a heads up for those yet to select - I have had a few people tell me that they have had difficulty using the selection process on their phones and iPads. There were similar issues with football seat selection as well.
Just a suggestion that as a precaution you log in early to make sure you are good to go with your device of choice. To try to log in at your selection time only to encounter “technical difficulties” would be quite unpleasant and nerve-wracking.
If it were me I’d be using my desktop or laptop to make my selection.
Best of luck to all and let us know how you make out.

It will be interesting to see how your seats compare to a couple years ago and also to see how first time season ticket holders make out with their selections. Check in and let us know how you did. Hopefully the Hall will be full and rocking this season.
Go Hoosiers!!!!

I will miss playing Notre Dame.
B10/ACC Challenge possibility I suppose but have to believe the IU brand will pull bigger name opponents for that.

Got Cincy. Was thinking about Rutgers as well, but holding off for now.
A friend has 2 great seats for Rutgers on the Peegs and Rivals ticket forums if you decide to take that one in.

You were there during the best 4 year stretch in IU history, in my opinion. Very exciting time.
I remember going to a game in what would have been your sophomore year against South Carolina...They had Alex English, Brian Winters, and Mike Dunleavy, but IU still won. If I remember right, Abernathy had a big game for IU.
I was definitely spoiled. Double-edged sword as getting used to that kind of success for my time at IU and beyond made the fall of the program that much more disgusting and painful. I only hope others will be able to taste a modicum of the success I witnessed and I'd like to taste a bit more before I kick the bucket. Almost gave up my season tickets but thankful now that I didn't.

I think so, unless they'd get really good feedback from this G league deal. A few of those guys will greatly affect the B10 race.
I was surprised Eric Ayala's name wasn't in there. He and Wiggins are pretty much mirror images of each other...
Yeah - forgot about Ayala. I’d like to see them all leave for selfish reasons of course. Hopefully though the days of me hoping that opponents are weakened so we can rise in the standings are coming to an end. Having started my IU fandom when I arrived on campus for the ‘72/‘73 season culminating in the undefeated national championship season my senior year I NEVER worried about the strength of our opposition - I just knew we’d whip ‘em all. Honestly never considered that my attitude would ever change but the last 20 - 25 years have jaundiced me. I want my SWAGGER back!!!!

I guess I missed Wiggins.
Isn’t it pretty much expected that other than Carr, Brown, Smith and Cockburn that all the others are returning?
-
If I’m reading this correctly these players have an opportunity to play their way into a combine invitation.
Big 10 players of note: Brown, Dickinson & Smith (Michigan), Liddell & Washington (OSU), Carr (Minnesot) & Cockburn (Illinois).

Correct. Also the new Coach may or may not be bringing someone with him to play. Would not be shocked to see a new commitment before the new Coach announced
I think it's possible if not likely that we have this guy locked up but won't officially hire him for a while. He is now able to talk with recruits freely but once hired that comes to a screeching halt. It is quite an advantage to be able to have personal contact in a pandemic recruiting environment where visitation on and off campus is prohibited.

In the pic where Coach is sitting down, who is the guy wearing glasses to the left of Sage Steele?

Yes if you opted for mobile delivery instead of mail. Mobile tickets are supposed to be delivered via email and show up in online accounts Tuesday. Not certain about using your phone if you opted for mail delivery?
