There will come a day when I quit watching college sports.  That train is headed down the tracks.  The only question is when will it get to the station.

I'd sure save a lot of money if I could ever get to that point but in 50 years I just can't shake it. It's all just too engraved in my DNA. Thought the Archie years would finally do the trick, especially when coupled with IU football performance last year, but then along comes Woody and I'm pulled in again. Season tickets for both sports will be renewed - AGAIN. I'm an IU sports junkie.

You think so? I've always thought he would go and Diabate and possibly Houstan would be back at Michigan.

Dickinson showed the ability to hit the 3 (33% this year) and I thought that might be enough to at least get him on some draft boards...

I hope you are right and I do see the point you make regarding his demonstrating his ability to hit the 3.  I base my pessimism about his leaving on the optimism that he is staying being circulated on UM boards.

The whole National Peacock Day thing is a fabrication of social media that was created today.  When my son texted it to me this morning, I could not find a single source other than the one he sent me.  When I google it now, there are pages and pages, but they are all dated today.

National Peacock Day did not exist prior to today.

    Buzz kill. LOL

Not specific to this year's tourney, but I have a question.  I went to the first 4 Big Ten Tournaments ever.  One with my best friend and the other three with my brother.  Watched every second of every game all 4 years.    I've not been to one since.  But, my son is a Senior in high school this year and I'm hoping at some point in the next couple of years, his college spring break falls on BTT week.

My question is this.  Does anyone know how difficult it is to get tickets if you are not a season ticket holder?  When I went to the first 4 tournaments, I was getting them through a co-worker who was a season ticket holder.  That's been a long time ago, so I don't know how available they are to the general public.  And, is it more difficult to get tickets when the tournament is in Indy vs Chicago?

I’ve never not been a season ticket holder so don’t know. Can’t imagine they sell out tickets through schools though, especially in upper levels. Find a season ticket holder to help when the time comes. If I am still a season ticket holder then and don’t have plans to attend I will be happy to help.

The Illinois loss was THE LOSS wasn't it?

Its been an enjoyable year and we'll still be in the dance but we are a team that gets soundly defeated at home by the number 18 team in the country. THE LOSS that gives us our identity. The truth serum, the litmus test.  Underwood didn't beat Woodson. Their best player was able to impose his will on ours then the caveats that come from that were daggers. In an open gym pick-up setting they would've destroyed us.

Right now we could be  8-4 behind three teams tied at 9-3 with wins against 2 of them. We would be ranked in the top 20. The narrative nationally would be different and we would be talking about how  we could still win the conference. Instead we are hoping not to fall apart or limp into the conference tournament. It was a huge loss.

Can we get Syracuse Kopp tonight?

Unfortunately I am resigning myself to "Syracuse Kopp" being the same as "Marquette Fitzner" - please convince me that I am wrong.

Appreciate that and the connection to the exchange site. As you saw my name over there is different. Had an old account I had forgotten all about.

I think that once we get past the very high demand/price Illinois game (level of opponent AND last weekend game) activity for the other 3 remaining home games will pick up and there will be decent seats with reasonable prices posted. Just stay patient and check in on the forum a couple times a day if you can. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

Best of luck and Go Hoosiers!!!

This may not be the right place to post this. Would love to get 3 tickets for any of the remaining home games. My son is becoming a bigger fan and I want to capitalize on it. Before I look on random sites I thought I would check here to see if anyone has any they may need to let go.

Let me know how it works out for you. I really hope someone comes through for you and your son.  I will keep an eye out for you as well.

I suggest that you keep an eye on this site.  Better yet,  post your desire to get tickets.  Just be sure to read the forum policy before posting.
