My wife and I have been making the way to the best college basketball arena's. So far we have done Duke, Kansas, and Butler. We are coming for Indiana on 2/18. Does anyone have any tickets they know of that we could purchase?   Thank you

Keep an eye on this board as the Illinois game gets closer.  Better yet, post that you are looking for tickets.  Just make sure to read the forum posting policy before you post and follow the simple rules.  Best of luck and Go Hoosiers!!!!!

Not sure where this "short turnaround" conversation  came from. They played Thursday night, so they had two and a half days to recuperate. We're talking about young guys here. A couple of weeks ago we were lauding CMW for scheduling quick turnaround games to prepare for what an NCAA tournament run would be like.

Let's not make up excuses. IU will grit out a win. Northwestern doesn't score well, we're home, students are back. May be closer than we'd like, but it doesn't matter. A win is a win.

Students may be back but they didn't get tickets for this one - it's the last of the mini-series package games.  I'm sure many will find their way in though but there won't be a united student section.

The last time IU finished above .500 in the conference was 2016.  So it is understandable to doubt.

There is no doubt that it is understandable and it goes back well before 2016. Having been a student during the best 4 years ever in IU basketball history and then experiencing national championships in '81 and '87 I never imagined that such a draught was on the horizon.  I am certainly not throwing stones at those who have adopted the philosophy that our opponents, regardless of their statistics to date, will somehow rise to the occasion when playing us and set the world on fire because I am among those who have been relegated to feeling that way. Thing is, there was a time when we expected the best shot from our opponents but expected to win anyway. Ready to get that swagger back again.

Last I heard the team went home for the holidays, and were to report for practice after Christmas. Not exactly sure of the date, but I want to say 27-28th. Might even be later.

I don't follow anybody on twitter, you might want to check there for more info.

Pretty sure Woody sa12/28 in his KSU post-game presser. That said,  wonder how many had flights booked on Southwest?

If anyone wants some easy money, hammer the LSU versus Purdue line lol. Just announced that AOC isn’t playing and Charlie Jones isn’t either. I think it’s +14 right now.

Durham too it appears. Haven’t seen where Jones opted out but you would know better than me.

JHS mom posted saying he is on track to return for the Kansas game

Man I hope that this is good news but I attended the IU morning shoot around in Vegas and all JHS did for the hour was stretch with Tim Garl and Dr Rink while the team went through drills and shoot around. Towards the end he was at the opposite end of the floor shooting free throws but I found myself less than optimistic that he’d be playing until Big Ten action resumes. Heaven knows we miss him so happy to hear his mom’s report.

    Go Hoosiers!!!!

The Kansas crowd will be difficult to overcome.  They will make the Rutgers crowd look like a walk in the park.

I think you are right about the home crowd being a big factor but it seems that many IU fans took advantage of the fact that this game was included in the Kansas mini-package bundle and bought them. Wouldn’t it follow that this is a game that will be played while KU students are on break?

Wasn't sure where to asked this.   Is Stubhub still a reputable place to purchase tickets for an IU game?  Like tonight with instant download, is that usually legit?     Thanks!

Try this before resorting to broker sites. It’s a free board so you can post your need or just watch it for upcoming games. The closer the game you’re looking for gets the more posts will pop up about it……

My wife has a new friend. Her dad has had 4 season tickets for 20+yrs. He lives in Florida. So next season I may get some awesome seats.

    I have a new friend too. ☺️

I’m confused - are you saying that your wife’s dad is her new friend?

Oh and, where are the seats? Is your wife’s (and your) new friend going to continue his donation level?

Favorite players: May, Wilkerson, Tolbert, Cheney and Bailey

Favorite game: Indiana at Michigan State, 2013 when the Hoosiers  came from behind in the final minutes to pull it out. My good friend kept the stats for Michigan State Football and Basketball and gave me his tickets and parking passes every year. Indiana always lost at Breslin and I had pretty much given up when they pulled it out. Great game, great finish and all of us Indiana fans went crazy. TV Teddy was officiating the game and it was quite obvious that he thought everyone in the Breslin came to see him. What a jackass!

Best Memories: I never missed a game on television. Right after I got married in 1973 my then wife stripped naked and stood in front of the television while the Hoosier's were on. I politely asked her to get out of the way so I could watch the game. Needless to say she wasn't real pleased with me. I wish she would of divorced me right then and there.

For many years when the game was on the family vacated the premises.

Oh if only for a "Pause" button back in the day!  Sounds like you certainly could have benefited and I can think of a few times that domestic strife over watching my Hoosiers live could have been avoided.  LOL!

When: Monday November 7th 7pm EST

    Where: Assembly Hall, Bloomington Indiana

TV: BTN+ (My final $3.33 of the year to them!)

Article on Morehead St and IU with a good synopsis of a rebuilding Morehead St team...

" Morehead State went 23-11 last season but is in rebuilding mode after star big man Johni Broome transferred to Auburn. Broome set a program record with 131 blocked shots and had 23 double-doubles while averaging 16.8 points and 10.5 rebounds.

Starting guard Skyelar Potter also departed and is now at Jacksonville State.

Guard Jake Wolfe (5.8) is the lone returning starter from a program with 11 newcomers.

Guard Mark Freeman is expected to play a leading role. He has previously played for Tennessee State and Illinois State. He averaged 8.8 points last season for Illinois State.

An intriguing addition is big man Alex Gross, who was an NAIA All-American at Olivet Nazarene. Gross compiled 2,021 points, 1,226 rebounds, 426 assists and 363 blocked shots in his four seasons at the school in Illinois."

They also lost Ta'Lon Cooper who we'll be seeing later this year at Minnesota...

Coached by Preston Spradlin in his 7th year (92-88)

Alex Gross's family will be sitting in my 4 court-level seats for this one.  Church friends and Alex played at Hauser nearby.  Had a chance to play overseas but did the grad transfer to Morehead instead.

First time I have ever violated my policy of no opposing fans in my seats but this seemed like a legitimate exception - the family is STOKED!  Also, I informed all of those around me in my seats last evening and all are cool with it.

    That said, Go Hoosiers!!!!!!
