  1. Someone asked to see my pergola when it was done. No, it was not a DIY. Took 2 guys about 7-8 hours
  2. Just got off a conference call and was informed that our state is reopening offices for client appointments if—local jurisdictions allow, by appointment only-no drop ins, mandating the client signs an attestation that they are not sick, and mandating they wear masks. It will be interesting to see what kind of response we get—whether folks are ready for this, or not
  3. At least up here in NE Indiana there is a non-profit that will neuter all of those cats, once the kittens are old enough, at very little cost. You may want to research this where you live
  4. Stay strong Scott. Praying for you that tests come back showing no issues. Remember Job. You won’t be given more than you can handle
  5. Tony Mandarich can be added to this group 🤓
  6. Lagrange County has just mandated that all citizens wear masks, in public areas, or even at their homes if maintaining 6 feet distance is not possible. This ruling due to a spike since Memorial Day weekend that has left their hospital at almost full capacity. St. Joseph County (South Bend and Mishawaka) has mandated face masks in any retail establishment, public transport facility, etc. Applaud the local governments that have taken matters into their own hands, as it appears that citizens on their own just can't act responsibly.
  7. Yeah, I remember getting a pretty good pg from the Chicago area, back in the day
  8. I have a client who does this, so I hired him. Besides the reciprocation, I don’t have the time , or ability, to do it myself
  9. You guys need to look into an irrigation system. The initial investment is a bit steep but it pays for itself over time. Mine draws from the lake but you can tap into whatever system provides your water
  10. So, I am having a pergola built and the installers are Amish. Supposed to be here Thursday. Going to keep my distance and going to keep my wife, who is at a higher risk, as far from them as possible. Weighing the wife’s desire to have this done ASAP v waiting for a while
  11. I liked Peaky. Set in post WW I England.. Lots of LSV, but if you can get past that, the story line is really good.
  12. Loved The Americans. All of it. Have watched all of Saul, Ozark, and Peaky Blinders. Ready for a change and going to start on Schitts Creek.
  13. 40 years ago today, I was lucky enough to marry the woman of my dreams.
  14. Don’t know what to believe out of China, but sounds like the second wave may have started there.
  15. Modern a, Inc. a bio pharmaceutical reported results of an early stage test where 45 people reacted favorably to a potential vaccine. Headed tO Stage-2 testing. Not sure if this is the impetus, but certainly helped the market today
  16. Scott Turow just came out with his latest, which is to be the last novel featuring Sandy Stern, so brilliantly portrayed by Raul Julia I’m Presumed Innocent. Daniel Silva’s next Gabriel Allon book is due out in mid-July
  17. Rico helps his dad farm. It may just be time to get the crops out, especially since it has just warmed up here in Northern Indiana
  18. Attended, yes.Confirmation that he graduated......not sure?😁
  19. When has Fran's program sent a player to the pros? The value to Iowa basketball may very well be greater if he were to go and get drafted this year. As it stands, who can Fran point to when recruiting kids and say, " I put (fill in the blank) in the league, and I can develop you the same way"? To Scott's point, I don't see Iowa, with or without Garza, making a Final Four run next year. If Fran can parlay Garza making it into the pros into bringing in recruits with higher aspirations, that would do wonders for the program, imo.
  20. https://www.wane.com/news/local-news/whitko-community-schools-to-hold-in-person-commencement-in-july/ Looks like Rico's school is going to be a trendsetter up here in NE Indiana.
  21. On my first bike ride this year, I was bit by a pit bull that was allowed to run loose by some people living in a rental. Dog was quarantined for 10 days at the local shelter as owners claimed that they couldn't keep it under control. Fortunately for me, the dog was not rabid. Owners have given the dog away. I still won't ride past the house as they have had other dogs they allow to run loose as well.
  22. Human hair and/or blood scattered on the soil will work
  23. Being optimistic. Just bought 4 tickets for the Colts-Packers game
