Not sure why all the hand wringing about this.
CAM is charged with winning games and returning the program to an upper echelon one.
There has been plenty of complaining on here that we haven't won enough in the last 20 years (legitimate complaint, imo)
As long as there is no cheating or unscrupulous behavior by the AD, coaching staff, players and anyone else associated with the program, are people really going to care how we go about winning?
I would love the program to be at the point where we are discussed as legitimate contenders both for conference championships and on the national scene. When we get to that point, whether it has been accomplished by recruiting one year players or 3-4 year "career players", is anyone on here going to come on and complain?

Great get for CAM. Appears to be a kid who appreciates what it means to be a Hoosier and appears to be a kid who will put his nose to the grindstone, so to speak.
We have brought 3 quality kids into the program. Love the direction we are headed. These are the kinds of kids who will build the program for the long haul. These are the kind of kids who will shut up the critics who have said, among other things, we should have hired Holtmann. These are the kind of kids who understand how important it is to fight to beat the Toiletmakers and restore the Hoosiers as one of the elite in the B1G

Great Series
- Daniel Silva's Gabriel Allon books.
- Steven James' Patrick Bowers series.
- Ken Follet's Century Trilogy
I have read all of the first and third. Have not heard of Steven James. May have to check him out.

Resurrecting this old thread.
If you have the chance, read Steve Rushin’s two books, Sting Ray Afternoons and just released Nights in White Castles.
Nostalgic look at growing up in Minnesota from the late 60’s through him attending Marquette and then becoming a writer. Rushin is funny, clever, self deprecating and a smart ass all in one.
Great summer reads

Didn’t see the last round but hard to beat a guy who shoots 61.

This guy is the epitome of stupid. Old story that has recycled and due to the guy being a low-life, won’t go away. Frankly, not sure how the judge could have ever seriously thought that this guy would be good for the payments

I'm not ashamed to admit it: I cried like a baby when our other dog died (sister of the one in my previous post). I'll never be one to say "it's just a dog/cat/pet". They have more of an impact on our lives than we realize.
Yep, I am sure that when my guy goes--he'll be 10 in October, I'll do the same.
Always there. Always loyal.
Not ready to even consider him not being a part of our lives.

The cat in the my pic above (with her gelding boyfriend) is The Queen of the Mousers in our barn. The other barn cat (male) is a sissy. Won't go near a mouse.
The only cat I have ever owned was a barn cat my son brought home when we lived in Wisconsin and he worked de tasseling corn. Harley, because he purred like one. He wouldn’t abide staying in the house overnight and many a morning we found his “provisions “ for us on the deck. I am not a cat guy but Harley won my heart over

Nothing here either unless I count barn cats. The new GF wants a dog though.

Another one. When I agree to a phone call with someone at work and say "how about Tuesday? Let me know some times that work best for you?" and they reply with something like, "Awesome, let's do it!".
What am I supposed to do with that?
On a similar vein, and has become a running joke in my family.
When someone does something for you, and you say "thank you." I was always taught to respond "you're welcome."
Nowadays, it seems that the response du jour is "no worries." What????

There were cars in the 70s? 😁
Yeah. They started them with their feet running on the pavement, then the driver popped his head through the roof so he could see better 😉

It looks like the rain chances don't start picking up until 2:00 on Sunday. It might be the Indy 250 this year.
The very first race I attended was back in the late 70's. One friend and I went down for the race with a case of beer. The race became official on lap 101, and the downpour started on lap 101. They never started racing again that day. Rutherford won, I believe.
We sat in the rain and drank most of the case before heading home.

As much as I love RMK, and so ecstatic that he’s back in Bloomington... this is CAM’s town now.
Will always cherish what Bob did for IU. I was a student during his heyday. That being said, it’s time for Arch to reinstate us where we belong
