Lagrange County has just mandated that all citizens wear masks, in public areas, or even at their homes if maintaining 6 feet distance is not possible. This ruling due to a spike since Memorial Day weekend that has left their hospital at almost full capacity. St. Joseph County (South Bend and Mishawaka) has mandated face masks in any retail establishment, public transport facility, etc.
Applaud the local governments that have taken matters into their own hands, as it appears that citizens on their own just can't act responsibly.

Is he ‘22? Interesting foray into the Chicago area. Archie recruited the state of Illinois at Dayton. I am glad we are working Illinois now. I wonder who is our lead recruiter in the area? Being one state over, Illinois is an important piece of the recruiting puzzle IMO. We’ve gotten some key kids over the years. Even aside from sports, a ton of Chicago area kids come to IU as it is. It all shows that the state of Illinois is an area where we have good potential to land talent.
Yeah, I remember getting a pretty good pg from the Chicago area, back in the day

When I renovated my house, I ran a couple wires from my living room to the north and south sides of my house for a future irrigation system. It is definitely something I have in the long term plans. The drip irrigation in flower beds and the garden would be worth its weight in gold. Not to mention, my house was vacant for a few years before I bought it, so the yard was a jungle. Also, I tore it up when I put in a basement. I don't know if I have a single blade of grass, just weeds. Going to tear it up and seed it at some point, and the irrigation system would be amazing.
Did you do your own or have someone do it? I've thought about having someone design it and then doing it myself. The videos I've seen look pretty easy, I just need someone to tell me where to put everything.
I have a client who does this, so I hired him. Besides the reciprocation, I don’t have the time , or ability, to do it myself

It's actually unavailable right now on Amazon. Maybe I got the last one lol. There are a lot of others. The main reason I got this one is because they have a 2 year warranty and they're active answering questions on Amazon in case it is needed.
It isn't a very big hose, but for gardening, it supplies more than enough water.
You guys need to look into an irrigation system. The initial investment is a bit steep but it pays for itself over time. Mine draws from the lake but you can tap into whatever system provides your water

So, I am having a pergola built and the installers are Amish. Supposed to be here Thursday. Going to keep my distance and going to keep my wife, who is at a higher risk, as far from them as possible.
Weighing the wife’s desire to have this done ASAP v waiting for a while

I watched the first couple seasons of the Americans and need to finish watching it sometime. Is Peaky Blinders good?
I liked Peaky. Set in post WW I England..
Lots of LSV, but if you can get past that, the story line is really good.

Clay Travis on a roll today. Kidding aside. New York and California says pro sports are free to open next week....seems a bit different compared to what they were saying last week?? What happened other than the obvious.
Modern a, Inc. a bio pharmaceutical reported results of an early stage test where 45 people reacted favorably to a potential vaccine. Headed tO Stage-2 testing. Not sure if this is the impetus, but certainly helped the market today

Scott Turow just came out with his latest, which is to be the last novel featuring Sandy Stern, so brilliantly portrayed by Raul Julia I’m Presumed Innocent.
Daniel Silva’s next Gabriel Allon book is due out in mid-July

Rico helps his dad farm. It may just be time to get the crops out, especially since it has just warmed up here in Northern Indiana

When has Fran's program sent a player to the pros? The value to Iowa basketball may very well be greater if he were to go and get drafted this year. As it stands, who can Fran point to when recruiting kids and say, " I put (fill in the blank) in the league, and I can develop you the same way"?
To Scott's point, I don't see Iowa, with or without Garza, making a Final Four run next year. If Fran can parlay Garza making it into the pros into bringing in recruits with higher aspirations, that would do wonders for the program, imo.

Looks like Rico's school is going to be a trendsetter up here in NE Indiana.

Unfortunately, the house across the road is a rental and it seems almost every tenants idea of raising a dog since we live in the boondocks is to just let their dog, dogs run free?😖
On my first bike ride this year, I was bit by a pit bull that was allowed to run loose by some people living in a rental. Dog was quarantined for 10 days at the local shelter as owners claimed that they couldn't keep it under control. Fortunately for me, the dog was not rabid. Owners have given the dog away. I still won't ride past the house as they have had other dogs they allow to run loose as well.

My town has a rabbit infestation, and since I lived in city limits I cant shoot'em, wife dont want me to trap them because she knows I will want to eat them. So I just have to make extra efforts to protect my plants. Chicken wire does the trick. Really want to eat those rabbits though.
Human hair and/or blood scattered on the soil will work

To me because it was on FX is one of the better forgotten series. Loved it from start to finish.
One of my favorite scenes ever was when the killed the guy in his hotel room and then folded the body into a suitcase so they could get out of the place. Even typing this gives me the creeps as I hear the bones snapping.

A vile and a mole are similar in that they both tunnel and do damage to your lawn. Difference is mainly in appearance. A vole looks more like a mouse. A mole looks like a bat in the face

27 up nort here on Friday night.
Waiting to buy flowers until it warms a bit.
Moles are looking for grubs. Need to treat your lawn for them.

Colts opt not to exercise Malik Hooker’s 5th year option. I know he’s been hurt some, but thought he played really well last year. I hope that the two sides can come to an agreement to keep him with the Colts for the duration.
