  1. Awesome, bro... Awesome 👍 Remind me to tell you the story of the Tech Sargent working local at Scott AFB tower drinking Carling Black Labels (true! 🙂)
  2. I've worked my share of airshows... Some were unintentional 🙂 A guy on my staff lives adjacent to the grass strip TS07 (Tango Sierra Zero Seven). It's a "flying community." He doesn't own an airplane (he was a controller) but he does own a small hanger...he lets his neighbor keep his PA32 (Lance) in there... The parties at his place are epic...
  3. Been underdogs in the last 3... Some of y'all missed out 😉
  4. Hard to believe both Willie Mays and Wade Boggs scored as low as they did in the Gold Glove/200 hit club...Especially Mays... I was pretty sure Ichiro would top that list...24%
  5. One thing about mine, I would pay good folding money to hear Harry Caray butcher his way through my 40+ homers row
  6. I do that all the time...Look at what you or @rico put up, and curse myself for an hour for not thinking of "that player."
  7. You coach swimming right? And I'm sure you're good at it...But I'm also sure not every swimmer reaches his or her potential under your tutelage...Like I said, "Horse to water." You can only provide the environment, the tools, and the knowledge and guidance to help someone else succeed... I'll back Mike Woodson as a coach until the day he is no longer the basketball coach at Indiana... But I'll back him as a man til the day he dies...Just too much evidence that he's a good man with good intentions to ignore...
  8. You stated "I am fine with people piling on a little hyperbole if that is what it takes to get the decision makers to hasten his departure." Which has turned into half truths and outright lies... I'm a "believe half of what you see, and none of what you hear" type...You have to prove it to me with facts...Not some X cut and paste from a middle school coach or any nimrod with a podcast that happens to support your agenda (not talking about you in particular but it happens)
  9. No it doesn't...not even close...As I said, y'all treat facts as inconveniences...
  10. And I find that despicable...And it's not "a little."
  11. 45...I'm in a slump...Maybe I ought to pull the old Tommy Lasorda trick and start pulling names out of my hat...
  12. The second sentence is exactly correct...It's the old "you can lead a horse to water" thing... But you must insure they have the tools and the knowledge of their strengths and weaknesses and help them galvanize the former, and minimize the latter...That's leadership 101... And in the video I posted, that's exactly what Trayce said Coach Woodson did for him...As Coach Knight said, "in basketball the importance of the mental to the physical is about four to one." A good leader helps much more with the mental... No one is saying Woody has to stand out there and watch Trayce hoist 500 jump shots... But facts are inconvenient things around here...
  13. And that's all I think anyone asks, is fairness...
  14. I know you're not in love with the truth, but even you can't dispute straight from the horses mouth...
  15. Hence my first sentence... Yeah, he didn't develop TJD, or JHS, or Kel'el Ware, or Mackenzie Mgbako... Y'all need to stick with the truth
  16. If you look at players brought in this year, eh... But Illinois has Shannon, Dainja, and Harmon along with Domask and Gurrier as transfers on their roster... And UConn has Tristan Newton and Hassan Diarra as previous transfers as well ...
  17. Yeah, when he was hired you couldn't find anyone that would say a bad word about Woody ... Not one... Now he's this egomaniacal ogre who kicks dogs and pushes little old ladies... BS... People who have agendas normally have a loose association with the truth... Criticize his coaching all you want, but now getting into Mike Woodson as a person, which I figured would happen, and painting this picture of an A-Hole deluxe is flat bull crap...
  18. Did better than I did... That 3,000 K club isn't all that big, and I just flat choked...
  19. When: Sunday March 10th 4:30 PM EST Where: Simon-Skjotd Assembly Hall, Bloomington, Indiana TV: CBS Veteran coach Tom Izzo in his 29th year (705-292) brings his Spartans (18-12 10-9) into SSAH to battle our Hoosiers in the regular season finale for both teams. MSU had lost 3 in a row, including 2 at home, before knocking off a hobbled Northwestern team on Wednesday. The Spartans are led by 6'0 senior guard Tyson Walker (18 ppg 36% from 3). Walker is a 3 level scorer that can run hot and cold, but if he gets hot, watch out. 6'7 senior forward Malik Hall has been playing well, averaging over 15 ppg and shooting 54% from the field and 44% from 3. He also leads the team with 6 rpg. Smooth shooting junior lefty Jaden Akins (11 ppg 37% from 3) and senior AJ Hoggard (11 ppg 32% from 3) join Walker in a 3 guard set. 6'9 senior Mady Sissoko mans the 5 spot. Sophomores Carson Cooper and Jaxon Kohler along with 5 star freshman Xavier Booker, who tied his career high with 11 points against Purdue a couple of games ago, provide frontcourt depth. Freshman Coen Carr, who is probably the most athletic player in the Big 10, gets about 12 minutes per game. Trey Holloman, who's is greatly improved from his freshman season provides backcourt depth. Michigan State is your typical Izzo team. They'll fight for everything. I think we have a superior frontcourt, but with Reneau having to guard Hall it could mean early foul trouble. The other matchup to worry about, would be Mac on Akins. Mac has gotten better guarding the perimeter, but Akins is very quick, and has a quick release on his shot... Very winnable game for us, as Sparty hasn't been playing well down the stretch. Hopefully a good, loud crowd can energize us, and we can grow the winning to 4 and head into the BTT with some momentum... GO HOOSIERS!
