  1. And I will say this...I love White Castles...Always have...Like heroin When Fort Walton opened up a Krystal back in like 1995, it was like they opened a clinic that gave out methadone
  2. Had many a Krystal when I lived in Florida... Comparable...They do put mustard on a standard Krystal... But yeah, they taste a lot alike... If you're ever in Nashville, you can try them both and compare
  3. I think along with that you have to figure in how much NIL money was available as well... And I know some find it distasteful to even consider that, but it's a part of the landscape now however you slice it...Playing time matters, but in this day and age earning opportunities are a huge consideration...
  4. I think it bears pointing out only 8 of the top 100 kids in the 2025 class have committed anywhere...
  5. 16...I hate even typing Calvin Schraldi's name...
  6. A man of your word, I see...
  7. When: Wednesday, February 27th 7:00 PM EST Where: Simon-Skjotd Assembly Hall, Bloomington, Indiana TV: Peacock Greg Gard (182-102) brings his Wisconsin Badgers (18-9 overall 10-6 tied for 3rd in the Big 10) in to SSAH to face our Hoosiers. Wisconsin has partially righted the ship after losing 4 straight by winning 2 of their last 3. The Badgers are 3-5 on the road in the conference having lost their last 4 road contests. Led by 6'6 sophomore transfer (St Johns) AJ Storr (16 ppg) who has slumped a bit from 3 point range, shooting only 15% over the last 3 games. Wisconsin has had the same starting lineup for all 27 games, with 6'9 senior Tyler Wahl (12 ppg), 7'0 junior Steven Crowl (11 ppg 8 rpg, 6'3 Junior Chucky Hepburn (8 ppg 4 apg), and 6'3 junior transfer (Wofford) Max Klesmit (10 ppg 39% from 3) joining Storr in the starting lineup. 6'4 Freshman guard John Blackwell, who's a cinch to land on the Big 10 All Freshman team, 6'7 junior and Hoosier native Connor Essegian, 6'11 freshman Nolan Winter (who can shoot the 3 ball) and 6'7 junior Carter Gilmore provide minutes off the bench. Last game we played against them in Madison, Klesmit more than doubled his average with 26 points, and Blackwell chipped in with 12 off the bench. We shot well (54% overall, 44% from 3, and 80% from the line), bit our defense was probably as bad as it's been all year allowing Bucky to shoot 60% overall, and 48% from 3. We can win this game, but we have to guard the perimeter better than we did in the first game, have to win the board battle, and our bigs have to show up and play well...I'd heard we might have an Xavier Johnson sighting for this one as well... Let's stop the losing streak here... GO HOOSIERS.
  8. Yeah...Better to be a Monday morning quarterback, right? The very first sentence in the very first post explains it... No guts, no glory I guess...
  9. Tre(y)? Buch(k)et? Were they prescient? 🙂
  10. Yeah, I remember... And a lot at 3rd his first year with the Cubs... He and Ernie Banks were my only sure things
  11. Doing a full Cubs grid was challenging...The "One Team" alone was tough, simply because the Cubs either traded players too early (Lou Brock), picked them up when they were washed up (Dizzy Dean) , or were too cheap to keep them from free agency (Grace, Maddox)...
  12. OK, so I tried to match @5fouls and was going pretty good til I guessed Joe Tinker and Gabby Hartnett...The only non-Cub was Mike Squires who I remembered was the last lefty to play catcher in MLB (White Sox)
  13. The difference is that Tom Allen has a full 7 years to perform, was 2 years removed from his high water season (and one of two where he had a winning record)... One or two more games weren't going to save him... Like I say, I'm not going to belabor it, but I can't imagine myself rooting for IU or any IU coach or team to fail... I just don't have that in me...
  14. See? I don't get this line of thinking at all... I mean, @Hoosierdave I'm not trying to tell anyone how to think, but #1 you're kicking dirt on the "corpse" before it stops breathing, and #2 I would never, under any circumstances, root for IU to tank or lose to achieve some sort of perceived advantage in what may or may not be a coaching search... I really just don't get it...
  15. There lies the rub... If the story that Buckner inserted himself is true, then I view Dolson in the same light I do Greenspan when he allegedly gave into Adam Herbert in the Sampson hire. Ultimately no matter what happens, the results lie at your feet..
  16. I'm just wondering which of y'all is Paul Pelosi?
  17. Maybe as a backup? I always hear that we'd be better with Mac at the 4 and Reneau at the 5...And I'm not sure Sparks will ever see significant minutes at IU...My thought on him is that the very thing that DOES get him time (hustle and aggressiveness) lead to the mistakes he makes when he does play... Anyway, I guess we just have to wait and see...As I said previously, Woody isn't going to quit...And if Dolson goes to the powers that be with his hat in his hand saying he wants to buy Woody out, then he'd probably better have his own resume in order...
  18. I thought we were better off without 2 bigs on the floor?
  19. It looked like a great atmosphere...The family of Bryce Jordan probably wouldn't like it, but I'm sure Mr Hall (whoever he is ) would
  20. I don't think there's little likelihood at all...If we have Mgbako, Reneau, Cupps, Galloway back, and we add McNeely, I think that's a solid place to start from...Of course, there's a lot of unsubstantiated speculation that everyone is leaving or whatever...I personally think if Woodson is terminated, then I'm almost sure we'd be starting with a blank roster...
  21. As I said, you can't keep saying you want something while overlooking the reason schools like Purdue and Wisconsin got where they are...
