  1. That sucks...I read he has NBA talent...Hope it's something not serious and treatable, but even then I get the Hank Gathers/Reggie Lewis thoughts...
  2. Keyontae Johnson Florida has to be a bit shaken by that... And he does average 19+ a game...
  3. How about "The Verdict" with Paul Newman?
  4. Creighton certainly doesn't look anything like the #8 team in the country. Losing by 2 at home to Nebraska late in the 1st half... Hoiberg is doing a good job with the Huskers. They run a nice offense and share the ball...hitting shots and defense are their issues...
  5. My old spinster Aunt had both the Brownie still camera and one of the movie cameras...The camera flash would make you walk around like a mole for 5 minutes, and the bank of lights for the video camera would sunburn you... She worked at Hulman Co in Terre Haute canning Clabber Girl Baking Powder for over 50 years...Never had kids or a husband, so she had some money...Always got me and the old man freebie Indy 500 tickets every year too...
  6. And another one from Christmas 1965 I believe...The whole family...I'm the only one left...
  7. I'm pretty certain that drum to my left disappeared forever on Christmas Day...
  8. No...I was one of those inquisitive kids that took everything apart to see how they worked...Kinda like Sid in "Toy Story"... Once the old man saw it in pieces, it went in the garbage...
  9. Browsing through some old pictures...Christmas 1964...How time flies...
  10. Not "against" you at all, brother...Just trying like everyone else to understand it...
  11. That depends on what you read... "Japan has so far managed to avoid “explosive” infections as in Europe and the U.S. without enforcing lockdowns, most likely thanks to the common use of face masks and disinfectant, as well as other common preventive measures including social distancing." "Norway and Finland boast the West’s lowest rates of mortality linked to Covid-19 and a low incidence of coronavirus infections even though they have kept their economies and societies largely open while lockdowns returned to the continent." My friend, this isn't "black and white" as you say...One of the reasons I like to see ALL information, and not just one side...
  12. Their offense is really good...their defense is substandard though...They run into a good defensive team, and they'll be vulnerable...
  13. @Lostin76 I wholeheartedly agree with that assessment. Should there have been a quarantine order in effect for the returnees?
  14. Just going down to Mexico to pick up some Corona... “I would say that 60-70 percent of my positives in the last couple weeks in New York City have been a direct result of either people coming back from Art With Me, or who have been directly exposed to someone who attended Art With Me. And I test in Miami as well, and my testers there tell me that a lot of their positives are people coming back from Art With Me.” Thoughts?
  15. Beside the bolded text that implies something other than the valid reasons presented in the CNN link, I guess not...
  16. Yes they can...you have to guard them, and UNC isn't doing that.
  17. Did you guys read the story? The reasons why they waited on options for more vaccines specifically from Pfizer is clearly outlined. No one knew who, out of the 7 companies working on a vaccination, would be able to produce one first. So if we only go for Pfizer's we've back ourselves into a corner. We've given 1 company a promise to cover more than 1/3rd of our population (the 100 million that we initially purchased would cover 50 million people as 2 doses are required). Of course, an "anonymous source" Monday morning quarterbacking is nothing new... Not to mention, why do we even have a vaccination becoming available this early anyway? Talk about agendas...
  18. Kinda shocking that Gifford had to press Cosell to give the news during the game... I'd have thought Cosell would have been anxious to break the story...
  19. Tis the season! She looks thrilled, doesn't she? My wife does this to them every year...Neighbors hate it because a lot of people stop to take pics when they're out in pasture and it clogs up the road...
  20. Love Goldens...Smart, loyal, friendly...We had one who, from the time we got her when she was a puppy, was basically maintenance free...Open the door, she'd go out (no fence) and stay in the yard, do her business and come right back in... That said, we got out of the pure bred market 8 years ago...Last 3 we've adopted were from shelters...One is blind, but he gets along...Other 2 are good dogs (and one of them is a full blooded Lab)...Very protective of us...Like they know what we did for them... There are just so many dogs at these shelters who're really good dogs and need good homes, we couldn't justify going out and buying a $500-$1,000 puppy...
  21. I think it's a possibility too, but once the vaccine is rolled out I can also see people ignoring any mandate once they get the vaccine... I'd urge retail places to keep the enforcement of masks in place...That seems to be more effective than any government action anyway...If you want to shop/dine here, you have to have a mask...
