I'm in a spare bedroom which has a ceiling fan that positions just over the top of my head on Zoom meetings. looks like I'm wearing a beanie. If I turn on the light, it looks like I have a halo and a beanie... So the room is pretty dark... Which has earned me the nickname among my peers as "Emperor Beanie of the Dark Side."

The retail places around here demand it. At the entrance of the New Caney Walmart, a polite lady checks everybody coming into the store. If you don't have your mask on, she asks you to don one... Doesn't hurt that she's got another Walmart guy standing beside her who looks like the Missing Link...and I don't think he's there for window dressing... Texas does have its charms...

I know we had our hat in the ring on a few, but just didn't work out. You're correct in that roster management is in his job description. Pretty much all his now, so as I said, that can no longer be an excuse. If we don't see improvement this year, I would imagine his seat will get warm.

It takes time, fellas...Leadership, both Archie's and from the players, and chemistry can be fragile things. It can make ordinary teams winners and good teams seem mediocre. Look at Wisconsin last year after Kobe King left...They were 5-5 in the B10 when he left the team, and he was their leading scorer...ended 14-6 and a share of the B10 title...

Giant apologized for it, so I'd say no...But if so, I'd bet the jokester is online searching for jobs right now...

We aren't...and I presented the two most talked about reasons WHY we didn't win games like those... Either A) Archie's coaching B) Lack of player leadership/team chemistry And one of those (for lack of a better term) "excuses" should now be gone... The one remaining will be a big indicator on how many IU fans feel the direction the team is going...

You're right, and I'm kinda tilting at windmills here, but... There were 3 very winnable B10 games we lost last year (Maryland and Wisconsin at home, and U of I on the road) that you could attribute to either coaching or player chemistry/leadership. Winning those would have put us at 12-8 tied for 4th with the Whinin Illini. If you choose the latter here, those excuses should be gone. Archie has pretty much his team now, If you choose the former, well I guess we'll see more of that this year... I know it's hypothetical, but something to chew on...

You know, that's the thing...It really hasn't impacted my life severely, but I still feel uptight and anxious at times...I can work from home until the day I retire, but it's not like I don't feel empathy for @IU Scott and @mrflynn03 who're dealing with peripheral issues from this disease , along with those like @jefftheref and @5fouls who are battling the disease itself. It just absolutely sucks... This community is cathartic for me, and I'm sure a lot of you as well. That @Colonialcrester was able to forge such a community on an internet that can sometimes be a "wild west" with tough guys and trolls all over the place, is another testament to the man... And a hat's off to the Mod Team as well....
