It’s hard to believe that this new staff that Tom Allen has put together for this year is going to turn us around any time soon if at all. 
I didn’t see any of the game, but sounds like it was bad again! 
Dolson is in a big mess! 
No good end in sight. 

Could you imagine being Don Fisher! Every game you got to make them sound a little interesting. At least I can turn the game off an check back. He has to call every play! 

Well, trust me I am a Hugh IU fan ,just pissed off that we’ve slid back so far the last two years! I can’t stand it! Don’t mean to offended anyone!

I agree with you! That’s it’s taken this long is ridiculous. That after six years we are looking at a team this bad! Is mind blowing. Tells me Allen lived off Wilson recruits and great assistant coaches for a few years! Then bottomed out! 

I know we have three games left ,but the season feels over. Absolutely no energy from players are coaches! Seems like they have quit.
To be fair to Bell An Wilt I think you need to give them more time. If IU is going to save it’s football program there needs to be a marked improvement next year! I personally don’t have faith in Allen, but as we seen in year’s past the right coordinators can make a Hugh difference! 
We need to go after every offensive linemen we can get in the portal. I was listening to the Illinois coach when they ask him how he turned Illinois around so fast. He said he did it by bring in a great coaching staff first. 
 

I don’t think so. There should be enough minutes to keep both happy!

We should of never hired a cheerleader for a coach. Dolson should be fired too!

In Dolson defense we had a great two year run. Things were trending up. It seems someone would have recognized that these assistants had more to do with it then given credit. 
That being said it is a black mark against Dolson that he wrote such a ridiculous contact so early without an affordable out for performance. 

I watched  Coach Allen press conference talking about Ohio St. He looked like a coach who didn’t want to be there. Like he’s thrown in the towel. I can only imagine how beat up he feels. 
I bet he wishes he’d did more to keep some of the assistants that left. You know some of them told him to get rid of Hiller.

kalen Deboer he came once maybe he would comeback! The lure of the Big Ten might interest him! 

Just because he entered the Portal doesn’t mean he couldn’t choose to come back! 

The best case scenario we had was Allen at DC and Wilson as head coach. Wilson screwed that up. 

Favorite player: There are so many. Steve Alford comes to mine, Daryl Thomas I always thought got the most out of his ability.

Favorite game was IU beating Auburn in NCAA tournament. When Auburn tried to rough up Alford and he lite them up. 
Favorite memories were NCAA championships. My favorite was Keith Smart and the SHOT.

Rico, I wish I could say I disagree, but I don’t! I’m hoping no one gets seriously hurt! 

Look what Penix is doing at Washington under DeBoer. He is in the Top 5 I believe in every positive QB Stat. So we had the QB we need just didn’t have the line to help him! Not blaming Hiller any more that’s  Allen’s fault! 
Hard not to sound like a broken record when we watch the thing every week. The only thing  that changes is the opponent! 
 

I watched a few play on replay and QB an RB were gettting tackled at the same time on handoffs! 
How can we possibly be this bad! Yet we are! 

I was at a wedding so I didn’t see the game. Sounds like we were a push over again! We are awful! Next week will be worse! We are the door mat of the Big Ten! 

I agree he is a really good coach! Still, did he not bring in Transfers to improve his team? If yes, Illinois isn’t a great draw no better then we should be. So it comes down to a Head Coach recruiting  his teams identify he wants them to have. It seems we can’t find anything to hang our hat on

Their success occurred in the old SWC, which had a couple of good teams at the top but a lot of bad teams as well. 

By that standard, IU should drop football!
