We had some really positive in the second half! tJ showed he grew up in the second half! He needs to take that forward!
I love going for the touchdown at the end just wasn’t sure why we didn’t give it to Henderson or QB it an have everybody push him across!

I know Jeff Brohm is something like 4/1 against IU. If memory serve me right though in two of those years we were down to our third string QB an one year down to a walk on QB. So I don’t think to much of his 4/ 1 record against us!

I think our DBs will be tested against Louisville! After how they performed against Ohio St. I’m optimistic they will hold thier own! Our offense will need to take another step forward. Can’t imaged Louisvilles defense will be anything like OSU, but not as Easy as ISU.
-
Don’t know much about Louisville football, but I’m sure they will be a tougher game!
-
I’m hoping we can build off this win. ISU wasn’t a hard challenge for us , but a good team to help us get some ideal on what we can do and need to clean up.
Louisville will be a bigger test , but one I feel we should win! Go! Hoosier -
If you were Walt Bell, what would you be wanting to establish in the ISU game.

What’s the deal with Duncomb. He hasn’t gotten any meaningful playing time since he came to IU. Wasn’t he a 4 or 5 star recruit out of Cincinnati.
-
I have to admit, I am excited to see if we’ve improved from last year! I’m expecting much better offensive line play with the addition of the new coach! Which will help the run game and hopefully give our QB more time to make plays! I’m
concerned about lack of experience at QB, but there have been other Freshman that have step in and done big things so I can hope!
Defensively, I think from what I’ve read will be fine! It will be a wait and see ,but I do trust Coach Allen in this end of the ball.- 1

They probably want us as a safe warmup game.
On the flip side, getting them first game may also be the best shot at getting an upset.
That’s true!

I saw that our first game next season is Ohio St. again. The last five years our opening games have been really tough. Ohio st, Penn St, Iowa, Illinois an now Ohio st again.
Does a Athletic Director have any say in the scheduling? You got to play them sometime, but Damn right out the gate! -
Is there a assumption that Chance Nolan is coming to IU?
-
Did JHS tweak his back again. I thought he played like his back wasn’t full strength . I hope his ok to go!

Something not mentioned yet, but I think mandatory film review with oversight would go a long ways. Coaches and players have to do it, why not officials?
Agree, and be accountable. Ask why one from a visiting team gets T up for flipping the ball to a ref and a home team coach an player during a time out can cross the 10 sec line cause mayhem and almost fights and nothing is called.

Back to the Keys injury! I hate it for the young man to get hurt playing. I watched that game an he was already playing with a shoulder brace on his right shoulder. My question is up 15 with 18 seconds left in the game why is he still in the game?

Is the young man from Oregon, Chance Nolan still in the portal?

Good win last night at Illinois! Big game Sunday at home ! Go Hoosiers still wonder what was said by Race or XJ to get T on the bench.
Just drive me crazy we get a quick T Underwood gets a T no one knows what happened and Iowas coach and his son have to be restrained and no call.

Can they call both? Not sure what the rules are in those situations.
You know they can! Purdue should have shot their free throws, then MSU should have shot theirs and got the ball. Since it was a flagrant foul aand Edy should have been ejected.

We have a chance to be a lot better….
QB. Some good young prospects headlined by TJ. Hopefully we add a vet.
Receiver. This group has improved drastically compared to where it was the last year or two. Deep and talented with a ton of promise. Good position coach with NFL background can hopefully really develop these guys. Carter from Fordham is highly productive. Cam Camper was a revelation until he got hurt. McCulley has great potential with his size and he’s a beast with the ball in his hands. Cooper is coming along. I don’t know if they will run Lucas in the slot but you have got to get the ball into his hands.
Running back. I always liked Josh Henderson. Good size and agility. The Wake transfer should be solid. Lucas is a weapon. I will be curious to see how they use him. Hopefully we get a big recruit at this spot in 2024. Trent Howland brings power and David Holloman can fly but those two haven’t produced yet.
O line. Playing as a unit is huge. That’s where the new coach will really help (along with player development). The UMass transfer has a good reputation and a lot of experience plus Bell vouches for him as his former coach. Sales and Bedford can be solid tackles if healthy. Benson is an emerging talent at guard. Young guys like Carter Smith, Bray Lynch and DJ Moore are up and coming. I will be shocked if this group doesn’t improve drastically.
TE. Bomba can block. We have a couple of well regarded Freshmen but I wonder if they are ready. Maybe we add a transfer here to balance the classes? I don’t know how much this position will be emphasized in the pass game at this point.
D line. Wow, we made some great additions. Burris from ATM and Blidi from Texas Tech at defensive tackle give us two talented additions. I’ve always been intrigued by Cooper Jones who is getting bigger and is a good athlete. Our ends and bulls look a lot better with the talent we’ve added. Carter at end from Western Michigan was a coup to get.LB. I believe Aaron Casey comes back. Farrar from Stanford was productive. The LB from Austin Peay looks interesting, small but active. Kaiden Turner is well regarded.
Secondary. Lack of experience back here is scary but they have talent. We have Toomer and the kid from Texas transferring in. Dunnam, Sharpe, and baby Mullen look very promising. Bonds at safety has always been impressive to me. The transfer from Texas Tech may be decent. We have a really good freshman coming in at safety. Our coaches are solid and they’ve got their work cut out for them getting these guys sound and ready.
Specials. We lost Campbell but we added a really well regarded recruit at kicker. Our punter is excellent. Lucas as a return man speaks for himself.
Thanks for this post. I was just wondering how we were doing with all the added players. Hoping to pick up another QB and running back or two.

Not sure what’s going on with Geronimo, but he hasn’t played up to even his standards. I’m a little surprised we not seeing much of Banks. An Duncomb nerve gets in we’re getting beat by 20 plus points at Penn. Hell try someone else..
on another note I can’t believe they is no response that I’ve seen from the Big Ten about McCafferty and sons behavior in the Iowa game.
-
I like Woodson this years freshmen are his recruits! We had a good team not real deep, but a good team. Two very costly injuries has shown how swallow our bench was.
play the freshmen we’re not going anywhere. I hate it for TJD he cameback for this! We need to find some real talented big men for next year. Also some consistent scores! -
I thought the offensive line played better the last couple games. So maybe the new offensive line coach can turn them into a good unit.
Im concerned about QB.

Free throws an Turn overs that’s the game
