Sounds like most of us are about the same age! It is unbelievable to me that in 50 years the best we can do is Bill Mallory! Since him we have failed miserably!,,At least he had some competitive years! 

Tom Allen has been here 6 years. His staff and him  have recruited everyone of these players. All I’ve read is how much better we have recruited. Then something is going wrong once they get here. 
I don’t have any faith that he can turn it around in the next Two or three years. would love to be absolutely wrong! 
IU is going to win one Big Ten game in Two years. What a joke we are. 
Tom Allen has another problem he can’t keep firing assistant coaches. His recruiting  will suffer and what good assistant would come here. 
At the same time if he doesn’t make changes in staff nothing gets better so he and IU are in a really mess! 

So does anyone expect improvement after bye week?

I’m not sure this team the last few years was built for any QB.

Yes! I agree as long as we put in a performance clause! Something like if you can’t win more then 4 Big Ten games after Four years we can fire you if we want to! 
it just freaks me out that we would have to pay 20 million to a guy who, come on admit it is only going to win 1 Big Ten game in two years after six years here. These are all his guys so he hasn’t done something right.

That’s what I think. Maybe the others won’t do any better,but they can’t do worse. 

The thing that just tears at me is. We had these same issues last year , couldn’t block, couldn’t run , couldn’t keep people off our QB! Did anyone Tom Allen or Walt Bell say in Spring practice we’re not fixing anything. We’re not getting better Mr. Hiller want the hell or you doing. 
If our coaches didn’t see this coming then we are in real trouble. Last year we had so many injuries it was crazy. This year we had some an some hurt ,but nothing like last years. 
I think it’s a coaching problem!

That seems High to me! 

The problem is our team is out there for all to see. We fire Bell after one year. Who’s Allen going to get. Who in there right mind would come to this crap show! 
I guess some no name trying to make a name for himself. If he can have a little success he could move on to Bigger an Better things. Like DeBoer did. 
The big mistake was it took 4 years to long to fire Hiller. Now you need two years to build a offensive line. 
Our program is back the way Lynch left it. Now with Tranfer Portal it will be hard to keep any player with Big Ten Talent.

I was reading some of Tom Allen buy out clause. It seems to me it’s better for him to fail and be fired then it is for him to succeed! 

so I’m guessing Allen post game remarks! Very disappointing, made to many mistakes poor execution! We well look at the film and need to correct our mistakes! Sound familiar! Heard that same shit for 50 years!

I couldn’t watch the game today, but it seemed Rutgers had the ball most of the second half, is that not right!

Absolutely, Lynch was a life long losing head coach. Left Ball St before coming to IU  0/10.
