I don't like "recruiting over" players.
Its called getting better, players get "recruited over" every year because they don't improve.. But at this point the staff has talked to all the players into staying and i'm sure they said look we are going to bring in players. I hope we ride with who we have but if the staff or a players thinks other wise so be it. It will be for the best for this team.

This is where I say, "I think I'll let the staff handle that concern, if it even is a concern. They get paid to work through these types of issues." Not really my worry. 😊 Go Hoosiers!
This is where I say, "its the off season just something to talk about. Don't reply if you dont want to talk about it. of course the staff is going to take care of it without talking to you first....😊

Where are the spots coming from to sign anyone, everyone can come back next year. I know some will transfer, go pro. but if they don't no open spots.

.....right, I don't see Leal, Galloway, Parker or Hunter leaving. Leal and Galloway seem like "Born a Hoosier, Always a Hoosier" type players, and Parker and Hunter posted their admiration and support for Coach Woodson.
There are only 3 point guards and Lander is 1. I can't see Rob going either.

I agree on the redshirting idea. People argue that kids today don’t want to do it. But there are programs that still use the redshirt and do so effectively.
We have benefited greatly over the years from a bunch of guys who were really big for us as fifth year seniors.
With the portal there is playing time to be had. kids wont redshirt.

Everyone will NOT play this year. I look at a couple guys like Galloway and Leal and they will have to work very very hard to carve out a role on this team. Heck they might even should think red shirting if there minutes get soaked up. That said I'm not interested in losing either one of them. If a change happens it happens...but I think they still have a lot to bring to the future of IU basketball. Maybe it isn't this year but perhaps next year. Competition is great...especially in practice. It will also force kids to figure out what they have to improve to see the court. The deficiencies in our offense looked very much addressed. It's funny all the things we have been crying for 4 seasons got fixed in one off season. We just added dynamic back court that will play much more aggressive and fast. We added shooting! We added veteran players. It's like someone has been reading our game threads for the past two years and said....ok..I'll go get that! Love it!
Both of those guys add something. I wouldnt want either to go. Galloway needs a shot fix, cant think his dad was a coach. A confident Leal with the green light brings a lot. Is there a ton of mins for either, no, but depends how they improve. someone is going to be 12 and 13.

I don't see it. I think everyone will have an opportunity to play next year (I think with a faster pace, the minutes will be better distributed). Chance to develop and win. Why would anybody leave?
I dont see it either but you never know with 18, 19 year old kids.

That I don't know. Just know IU is still interested and in contact, but i agree, he won't and shouldn't come as a walk on.
Rob and Hunter are the only 2 we haven't heard from.

Hearing there may still be some roster management to be done. I am still hopeful we can find a place for Kyle Mangas. I think he can help the team big time next year.
Rob, hunter, Leal or Trey? which goes? Not getting this kid as a walk on.

I really hope fans are allowed back next season. TJD deserves to go out with a season full of packed houses.
Health and safety #1 of course.
Indy is getting ready to have 200,000 for the 500. Dolson said the tailgate fields and stands will be open for football. A new prez at IU who loves sports!!!!!!!!. Shouldn't be a problem. Finding cheap tickets anymore will be.

This team in a rebuilding Big Ten just went to top 5 in the league. Top 15 in the nation. Well thats it. What do we do now. Full up. Long summer of waiting.

Wowwww, this is HUGE. Landing top 50 guard talent like this consistently is the key to maintaining a successful program, and this kid immediately fills our biggest need at the guard spot. Our group of guards should go from a huge weakness last season to a strength next season. Can’t wait to see them play in the new offense.
And we landed Bates out of nowhere with no smoke beforehand? This coaching staff is obviously connecting with recruits in a major way — getting those Juwan Howard vibes now. Exciting stuff.
The whole staff was in yesterday working hard.

Early on I expect offers to be flying but after a couple of recruiting cycles I hope we can get to where an offer from IU is known as hard to come by.

I think it's because of his injury. He had a 5 or 6 game stretch where he played like an All B1G player. Then he got injured. So can he maintain like the pre-injury Armaan? Experts reluctant to go out on the limb in this situation.
I think its him going to a new offense thats not run and chuck a 3. His 14 or whatever just might be 8 maybe. If these guys felt held back by Archies sets Armaan got some very bad advise going to VA.

I agree, its like the camo stuff. At least they only wear it a game or two. Purdue should do this so people know where they are.
