I heard they also retired the Helms “Championship” jerseys. Won’t impact current jersey numbers as the Helms uniforms all had Roman Numerals.

Agree he is skilled in a variety of ways. Watch out if he can add being a threat from 12’ to the three point line. As someone else mentioned, other teams will scout him and and sag off so to round out his offense he needs to be able to make them pay from 12’ out.

The BT refs SUCK. MCCaffery’s son goes up perfectly vertical, defending Wiscy’s Davison shooting a 3, but Davison wildly kicks out his right leg and McCaffery gets called for a foul. 3 shots for Davison. Complete and utter BS.

The high energy, engaged version of TJD is a beautiful thing to see.

This was a HUGE win. The difference between being 1-3 or 2-2 in the conference can’t be overstated. It would have been a tough road to be 1-3 and need 2 wins just to get back to .500. Let’s get at least 2 of the next 3.

He was best dishing. Had a spurt early in the second half when he was shooting, and missing, too early in the clock. Woody sat him and he came back in and played a much more controlled game. Lots of positives…Trey, TJD, Rob, second half ball movement, NINE (9!!!) turnovers, won the boards 41-33 and the D was great. Couple of “wish it had been better” items. Three point shooting was terrible. I’ve been wanting Bates to get more minutes but he looked very out of sync. Lost on D and took a couple of wacky shots.

This win was two firsts for IU this year: 1) first win vs a ranked team 2) first win without x number of “why isn’t KL playing” posts.

Maybe we should give him 18 games…..LOL

Refs..I’m glad TJD has the plus 1 coming after the timeout but that guy just ran by him without any contact that I could see. With all the $$$$ the league makes they should have good, full-time refs. Just being consistent would be a good first step.

The inconsistency of calls in this league is maddening.

Meh, I don’t like him shooting early in the clock unless it’s a layup.

We have a tough time getting everything clicking at the same time. If we were hitting our season average, from the 3, we’d be up 10.

I agree with that, ie they were not wild/forced shots, but don’t like him shooting early in the clock. He’s just not that good of a jump shooter.
