  1. The dumbest thing IU ever did was to fire Samspon.  This crap keeps happening no matter what.   Happened with Crean, Archie, and now Woody.  Probably happens everywhere it just gets swept under the rug.  At least with Kelvin we'd have a top 5 coach and probably a banner or two by now.  But this administration is so completely inept I fear it's all over.

I do too, UE is a dumpster fire and it sounds like it’s going to get even worse. Lickliter is rumored to be fired after their next game, whenever that is.

I've honestly always thought Crean would do well there.  He's going to need a new job soon and if he wants to keep coaching that's as good as he's going to do.

I don't know about how Woody or the team feels, but I have a sense of urgency about winning this game.

It's an absolute must win.  Lose and we miss the dance imo which is almost unfathomable.  That said we haven't lost 2 in a row all season.  I predict a double digit win.

He was never given a roster where a title was a realistic possibility.

He was hired to navigate the franchise through the rebuilding process from Doc/Pierce/KG to the next phase of the franchise, and as a Celtics fan I would say he navigated that process much faster then anyone could have anticipated or expected.

He's a highly respected NBA coach.

Wisconsin's strategy on D last night was what I felt like during Davis/Killingsworth years. Almost as if opposing team said let one guy (Kofi) get all the points as long as others don't beat us?

If the officials are going to get a 300 lb cyborg swings his arms/elbows around like that I don't want TJD on him at all. Or maybe just rotate people on him all game long because TJD on offense is far more valuable to us.

I don’t really care how Woody does it but he needs to find a way to keep TJD on the court for 30+ minutes.

I like it, use somebody that doesn't pick up quick fouls!

For real though, who are you suggesting should defend Cockburn? Race?

Either Race or do what Purdue does and bring one of your 2 best bigs off the bench.  Start Durr over Race.

You mean the game we won with TJD only playing 11 minutes? Yeah, I'm familiar... :)

If you're expecting another career game from our guards I wouldn't count on it.  It was a miracle we won with him playing that little.   We probably won't have Rob either.

TJD struggles against Cockburn. Gonna be important to get everyone else going. Gonna need Stewart and Kopp to hit shots. X will do his thing and penetrate and hopefully get Illinois into foul trouble.

Can't have Trayce guarding him at least not in the first half imo.

Illinois has the talent to be elite.  They have been inconsistent with player availability and that has probably played into continuity.  They can get hot and light it up!  They are not a team to overlook and they are a team that can make a deep run in the tourney.

Don't forget that bonus Underwood is playing for.  He'll have them fired up.
