For this analogy to be apt, you'd have also been visiting "Stinky's" twice a week for months and leaving negative reviews after nearly every visit, some of which do disparage particular employees, but you keep coming back week after week and posting the same vile ****.
The players are responding to a pattern, not a one off.
I bet the Stinky's staff could shoot free throws better than 239th in the country.

Penn State stats:
They score almost 43% of their points from 3-pointers. This is 4th in the nation.
They are 28th in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage (38.3).
They are 13th in the nation for free throw percentage (78%).

I posted the triangle graphic here on HSN right after the Northwestern game. For me, it actually had very little to do with this current team.
It goes back to before some of these players were born.
When Knight decided fishing was more important than recruiting (he has admitted this).
When we hired the wrong coach again and again and again. Each time, we hoped it would be different. Each time, the coach got fired and we had to start the whole cycle over.
"Be patient. He needs to bring in his own recruits. He needs time to install his system. We've had injuries and transfers. Be patient." We've heard those things since last century.
Each cycle of failure takes years, and we usually have nothing to show for it at the end except the pack-line defense, a new coach, and calls to be patient for another span of time.
The triangle meme fit my feelings perfectly, and still does. There was no real or implied attack on this team. I don't know if they're soft or not. What I posted wasn't even about them.

Be a tough one to win on the road, but if we're ever gonna go 4 out 1 in, this is the team to do it against, as they start the 6'10 Njie and 4 guards...
Thank you for these detailed at-a-glance pre-games, IUFLA. Much appreciated.
Here's a link to "season-so-far" team and player stats. If I read it correctly, Anthony Leal hasn't scored a single point. That surprised me.

I forgot about this Jadlow game. I thought you meant Greg Graham's 32 point outing, with 28 of them free throws.
"Feb. 21, 1993 - Behind a game-high 32 points from Greg Graham, No. 1 Indiana defeated No. 14 Purdue, 93-78. Graham tallied 28 points from the free-throw line in the victory, a mark which still ranks second in free throws made in a game in school history.
Brian Evans tallied 20 points in the win for IU and he also pulled down seven rebounds. Matt Nover scored 12 points and had a team-high nine boards. Calbert Cheaney added 14 points."

Sounds like Vegas know for sure Wahl isn't playing for Wisconsin.
Wahl officially out with injury for Wisconsin. Averaging 13.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
Expect to see more of Connor Essegian, a freshman guard from Fort Wayne having a very good first season with over 10 points per game.

She seems so nice in her pictures. Story link below.

The current #14 ranked Wisconsin roster does not have a single player ranked in the top-125 coming out of high school.

We're #4 nationally in shooting, but 235th for free throw percentage (69%).
Logan Duncomb leads the team with 75% field goal shooting. Kaleb Banks second at 67%. Misleading, but thought it was worth noting.

Also, this falls on Woody. Again, he’s not making adjustments. And if he does, it’s 10 minutes too late.
“Indiana didn’t know what to do against the zone. Their coaching staff had no idea. It’s like they’d never seen a zone before” – Connor McCaffery on how Iowa got back in the game.

I think that the plan was to win this game before worrying about the next one
Are you worried we won’t win this?
Gotta admit, it has crossed my mind once or twice.

Beard fired…wonder how this affects his recruitment
Get Dillon Mitchell from the portal! If he goes. From Montverde Florida. 6'8" forward. Ranked #5 out of high school. Currently a freshman at Texas shooting 64% from the field. 8 points, 5 rebounds per game.
I'm officially starting the rumor. #DillonToIndiana2023. I saw it on the Internet, so it must be true.

Yet another $1 million to the Indiana NIL fund announced today, by a matching donor. Bringing the total to over $2 million.

The fact that this Andy Herman guy makes money from Tweets like this "says so much" too. He's Tweeted or reTweeted several times about this incident, stoking outrage.
The cynic in me says Andy Herman is more concerned with Andy Herman than he is an injured football player.

Saw a clip of a doctor who said that some of the GERD problem is not enough acid in the stomach. GERD occurs when the valve on the top of the stomach doesn't close. Acid for some reason helps it function properly. Counter intuitive for me, and not sure I buy it, but worth considering.
Maybe related:
Whenever I have a heavy meal, I drink about 4 oz of grapefruit juice with a generous splash of simple 5% kitchen vinegar. Works every time. Feel better instantly. Orange juice and vinegar would do as well, I expect. Sometimes I add pineapple juice. No need to overthink it, tho. Just something acidic to help digestion. It's the opposite of taking Tums, which make digestion more difficult.
Disclaimer: this isn't meant to be medical advice. If someone has an ongoing problem, see a doctor.

A few December 2022 games for Gabe:
4 points. 1-7 Field Goal shooting.
14 points. 5-9 shooting.
12 points. 3 - 11 shooting.
19 points. 5 - 12 shooting.
He's had at least one scoreless half. Maybe two. I don't have his season-to-date stats. He may have had a 27 point game sometime recently. If it did happen, don't know if it was exhibition, or part of his season.

Kenya Hunter watched Dylan recently. As did Duke's entire staff.
Dylan scored 24 points against kids shorter and slower than he was. FWIW. If I didn't know he was a 5-star ranked #8 in his class - if I just wandered into the gym and saw this game with no background - I'd wonder what all the fuss was about.
Penn State Post Game Thread

I posted these stats in the pre-game thread:
"They score almost 43% of their points from 3-pointers. This is 4th in the nation.
They are 28th in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage (38.3)."
So Penn State shoots 60% from three on us.
How is that possible? How can we be that bad? What was our game plan? We knew what was coming.
Sorry if this hurts your feelings, Miller Kopp. Please don't beat me up.
