What shooters are you hearing???

I just wonder why he had such a drastic falloff 9 of his last 11 games.

Appreciate the insight. I hope if he comes he truly does make us better. I guess I’m just tired of not having shooters.

But they probably also have a coach who knows how to run a modern day offense…. We don’t!

To me I don’t want to bring in players that don’t make us better. We need shooters. Let’s say Perkins, Gallo, and Newton take up all 40 minutes at the 2 spot. Yes you’ll get intensity and good at driving the ball but you’re only gonna get 30% from 3 plus add in Tucker whose known weakness is shooting the 3 plus Mgbako being a streaky shooter it just all of a sudden feels no different than last year and I don’t want us to have another last year.

I want Conwell on this team more than anyone. That dude is a freaking monster!!!

I really liked what I saw from Mgbacko at the 4 last year offensively. Feel like he is a mismatch plus in Woodson’s offense he would have plenty of chances at open 3’s

Can you give me a breakdown of Perkins? I know you posted he was a winner and a bulldog but these stats just don’t excite me unless these last 11 games he was injured then that changes things a little. We need ALOT of shooters and adding him as someone who will need/want big time minutes just doesn’t excite me especially if we are adding Tucker who isn’t good at 3’s and not sure Mgbako is gonna be good at threes next year either.

If you saw this persons stats and how inconsistent they were at shooting the 3 and how bad they were the last 11 games would you want that person on our team?

He is a super streaky shooter who requires high volume to get his points and as someone I know who coaches against him twice a year said he can’t even guard his own shadow.

I totally agree with what you’re saying. I’m not saying I don’t want him or to take a chance on him what I’m saying is that for people overly optimistic just to take a step back and pray he develops.

The relevance is this guys highlight tapes are all of him just being a freakish athlete. It’s hard to get my hopes up for a guy like this when I think about JG

Hate to be Debbie downer but Jordan Geronimo was also a freakish athlete.

My only concern is can Tucker and Mgbako play next to each other? That would be 1 of them would have to play the 2.

I wonder if there has been any back channel conversations with any guards still playing? I think they are going to throw the bag at this power forward visiting and I also think they need to throw the bag at Mack.

I would think one of the visitors is Leland Walker. I also hope they are waiting on Cronwell to see if he is interested in coming here or not. ISU just needs to lose LOL
