  1. The problem is he is a high volume guy just like Blackmon from Stetson. To me you want to only bring in one high volume guy but he better be of the skill set of Caleb Love. Walker only had two games against high majors and one was Purdue where his shot struggled and he only had 12 points on 13 shots. Other game he had 20 pts but on 21 shots where he was 5-21 from the floor.
  2. Low chance it’s IU but not sure who else it would be.
  3. The two people I want most is Asbury from Queens and I haven’t checked but if he will enter or already has entered is Lanier from UNF. I know for a fact what UNF looks for in players and Lanier is someone we would 1000% want on our team.
  4. Defense doesn’t matter if you can’t score. Especially modern day game. Look at Virginia their foundation is built on defense not offense and it just doesn’t work anymore. I get what you’re saying but reality is Reneau isn’t going anywhere and if MM comes back he’s starting too. So we might as well get guards that can score. If we lose Reneau and MM we are in trouble regardless of their issues.
  5. If IU had Caleb Love and Dalton Knecht would you care if Reneau and Ware played next to each other? The reality is it didn’t work because we didn’t have shooters so teams sagged in or double teamed like Nebraska. If this year we go out and get the guy from Stanford and keep Reneau but then go and get proven shooters I think it’s a much more successful offense.
  6. Whats crazy to me is his shot is an easy fix and either his adrenaline doesn’t allow for him to in game action or the. Inches aren’t correcting it. To me it’s all in his legs. Coming around screens he over rotates his body and jumps to high. Then in normal jump shots again when he over jumps he misses. When he’s slow with his legs and body is when he typically makes it. I would consider his jump shot fluid and smooth and it requires him to physically be in line with the hoop. The rim needs to be right in the middle of his shoulders and his elbow needs to line up. When he speeds himself up it hurts all of the things above which for him is what creates his inconsistency.
  7. His dad got super mad at her for this and ended up using the flip off finger lol
  8. Thought everyone might want to go follow this website that was created. Going to post it on another thread too.

  10. No need to be sorry at all I respect your opinion for sure.
  11. Yeah I think like a lot of high school kids when they are the star of their team and get high volume they look great because they are getting reps but then Woodson has a specific demand for defense and you get buried if you can’t defend and that not only hurts your confidence but also hurts your number of reps.
  12. You know what I would find interesting/cool with NIL being such a thing. You now get 5 years of eligibility instead of 4 since Covid year is gone but that 5th year you must be enrolling in a grad program and you must transfer to a different school. Now obviously number of years change based on redshirt and medical redshirt.
  13. I mean I’m happy but weird Sparks would literally change his instagram to Indiana Basketball 2025.
  14. Don’t think this is true. He just changed his profile to Indiana Basketball 2025
  15. It’s literally like putting salt into a wound. So not only do we have zero 2024 players to talk about we have to talk about a players success going to a rival school.
  16. Now that the Montverde pipeline is closed he’s gonna transfer there LOL
  17. For some people they love a state or a program so much that they don’t care what the job is they’ll take it. IMO based on Pearl’s interview he truly feels that way about Indiana. Same with Dusty May
  18. Weirdly enough I’m not overly excited about him based on the recruiting analysis I read. Seems to me like he would remind be of Booker from Michigan State.
  19. You’re spot on because think about this: We probably need 7 to 8 new players: Returning players most likely: Newton (injured all year) Galloway Leal Sparks (unfortunately) Cupps (maybe) Mgbako (fingers crossed he comes back) Reneau (debating accepting our NIL Offer so 50/50) So at minimum we have 8 open scholarships Plus for 2025: We are guaranteed next year to lose Galloway Leal Sparks Mgbako And probably Reneau and zero 2025 commits. let’s say 4 of the 8 new players we get have eligibility remaining in 2025 then after next year we will need 9 new players.
  20. I’m hoping he sees how far Auburn goes and what Woodson does in the portal. If Woodson doesn’t do anything by time Auburn is out then he gets rid of Woodson and that’s why he hasn’t came out and said anything yet
  21. Yeah not sure why admins don’t just move it to general discussion doesn’t make much sense considering no one wants this thread to continue but Purdue members
  22. If so don’t think that’s good for us
