Fair enough. I think that’s a valid point, but watching him force his receivers to extend or adjust on almost every throw wears me out. If a receiver was that bad at route running he’d be out of the league in short order.

It’s not one game Scott. You blame the refs, I could point out the Jacksonville loss the game before that when Minshew threw 3 picks and had a fumble. The Colts aren’t a good team, we’ll see if they can get better next year.

Plenty of bad football on the Colts side, but he’s the QB. He cannot throw accurately. He lead Pittman into that hit. As a Colts fan, I’m pissed about that. His crappy play is getting people hurt. He might be serviceable as a part time back up, but he isn’t leading any team anywhere, unless it’s the IR.

There just aren’t that many 8 foot tall receivers….

Scott, there is a reason he is not a starter.

It was in his hands because he leapt 4 feet off the ground and completely extended. The ball was high. Same with Pierce earlier in the game. The receivers ALWAYS have to extend to try and make a catch. See Pittman. Minshew is wildly inaccurate.

Hearing the fans sing “Goodbye” after blowing the largest Super Bowl lead ever is hysterical….right up until Garbage over throws yet another receiver, then the humor is lost.

The Colts are a bad team. Minshew’s inaccuracy often leads receivers into devastating hits. He is garbage. The secondary is slightly better than the Hoosiers. IF this is a playoff team, it will be one and done.

I remember watching Coach Hoep’s introductory press conference and thinking the rose in the crystal bowl was a bit cheesy. When he said IU was a “rocket ship”, I scoffed. But he was so damn persistent that eventually even I became a believer. Losing him set IU Football back immeasurably. I see a little of Hoep’s attitude in CCC.

Meh. I’m sick of rankings. Especially when I see Purdue at the top of the MBB rankings AGAIN. When is the last time they had a top ranked recruiting class? Give me a team of guys that buy in and believe in the system any day, and give max effort. Remember when we inked one of the “best” QBs in the nation out of Columbus? What ever happened to that guy? Certainly didn’t pan out like the “experts” predicted.

So over 8 minutes left to go and McCullar picks up a 4th foul. Self leaves him in the rest of the way. Was it an incredible stroke of luck that he didn’t foul out, or did Bill know something the rest of us didn’t? It’s like he dared the refs to call the 5th foul, knowing that they wouldn’t.

Why, what would the Colts get by making the Playoffs and losing the first game? I get it’s too late now, but the season was sealed when Minshew was named the starter. I’d much rather have traded this season for a shot at starting ARich, JT, and MHjr next year. By the way, got any plans this week? I can meet you in Indy and we’d have a pretty good chance of being starters in the secondary next week.

Couple of quick observations: Gunn has incredibly quick hands and feet. He has the potential to be a monster on defense. We win this game by double digits if any one of the following happens: Gallo hits shots at a normal rate. We hit 1/2 of the bunnies we missed. Howard coaches UM.

Two quick observations from the game: 1. When Sparks first came into the game UM was shooting a free throw. When the ball went up, he immediately hip checked his man into last Wednesday. I literally laughed out loud. 2. Assembly Hall is a real B!tc# if you scorn her. She was so deep in between Geronimo’s ears, I suspect he will have nightmares for weeks. Haven’t seen anything like that since Sean May came back to town.
