  1. to be a freaking legend, simply put, he doesn't have the balls. I'm actually talking myself into finding a young psycho coach. I wasn't alive then but it sounds like I'm describing a young Bob Knight. Who wants to win so bad and forge their own way? Maybe they get paid to much. Can you imagine living on a pristine lake, winning 30 games guaranteed annually, getting paid 1.8 million as a base salary like Few or 4.4 million like Wright. These dudes aren't that hungry. Who is the super smart, super hungry dude out there?
  2. He's had that option too and didn't. I'm just not sure he has the balls. Call it comfortable, call it, "I can win here and have." Call it Mark Few. We need a psycho that can win. A psycho that can handle this psycho fan base that has about 6 heavily followed chat boards and a facebook mafia. Meanwhile. OSU is dunking all over Minnesota's literal face.
  3. I'm sorry but can you imagine how much better Jay Wright could recruit at IU? He could make IU a super model or a Lambo. You just can't make Nova a 10+ or a supercar no matter how hard you try. He's gotten very lucky with crazy shooting. They won't go far this year. Really don't care who has gotten injured either. He would recruit on super ridiculous levels at IU. He turned down Louisville because of sanctions. IU is Bama of basketball. Does he have the balls?
  4. Weird but I cheered against Virginia and Boeheim, I mean Syracuse. He's Tom Izzo of the East. What a fraud, what a sleeze. He may have quit cheating recently but I love seeing him cry and lose. Just like Izzo.
  5. Conferences with a quadruple header today. B1G B12 SEC ACC P12 MAC Big East I think I'm going to bring my tv up from the basement once it starts raining. Until then, installing some trim while I think about how I'm going to extend my deck and add a new set of stairs. Oh and buying 2nd round tickets at 10 am.
  6. So 2 bubble teams lose. Xavier and Clemson. Win 2? Win 3? Won't be surprised if Rutgers keeps flexing on us and we fold quickly. We will see if Trayce and Jerome are as soft as Archie thinks, even though they go public that they aren't.
  7. How many layups did they get? Archie needs to study for hat offense.
  8. Has anyone seen statistics on Percentage of people following through with the second shot? I think I saw it was in the '80s
  9. My mother in law had a really rough go with round one of moderna. She is one of the few people that is having chronic issues from covid. She had it right out of the gate last March. Still has a cough a year later. My downs nephew had a horrible reaction. Hives head to toe, throat started swelling. Took a ton of benedryl for almost 2 weeks. Needless to say, both are declining round 2.
  10. Scott already laid it out clearly so I won't waste our time. DD has mentioned it's worthless and has no teeth. Grant Gelon wouldn't even take the bill of rights up on its offer. No high level d1 basketball player would. It does not guarantee a roster spot.
  11. Izzo clearly doesn't care about the pr of telling his team they are playing for a scholarship. They made it pretty public too.
  12. Looks like the B1G lent out their officials. "The teams were whistled for a combined 53 fouls and shot 73 total free throws."
  13. I saw the red light and we t and showered. Didn't realize he was out of bounds too. Wasn't that the one seed out of that conference? Do they stand any chance at an at large? I'm guessing not.
  14. and the fighting Alford haircuts take a three-point lead with .8 second left by a terrible shot by a player who has not hit a three all game
  15. How many layups did belmont miss. They dang near gave that game away. Colorado st and the fighting Alford haircuts in a foul fest, 3 point game.
  16. I hear Smith plays fairly boisterously, if that's the word. Very cocky is how a local coach described him. 3 fingers in the air down the court, shooting guns in the air and holstering his fingers lol, shushing the crowd, and talking at opposing coaches. Huge IU fan as well, flat out doesn't like him. Said he's a kid that would end up at Purdue. Two years in a row has said his teammate is the better player.
  17. Nice. Born and raised near st joe rd and allentown. I've been bloomington or north for the last 20 years. Now thinking back, we may have had this conversation over the years and I forgot. Lol
  18. I didn't know you are a Creeker. Graduate or implant?
  19. I love that you immediately came in with the exact opposite take as Scott. I will be pleasantly surprised if the colts actually pay a stud receiver. However, history does not point to this as Scott has stated. I do not think it happens either. They may pay around 12ish but not any higher. I think Funchess was in the 8 maybe 10 range. Ballard is a bargain hunter. Honestly, if Funchess stayed healthy Brissett is probably the qb still. If I'm remembering my years correctly.
  20. Going to have to ask my buddy, a local assistant coach, to give me an updated scouting report.
  21. Don't know what's going on but Gamestop and amc just blew up again.
  22. Well middle of the road with low upside. Is that fair? Same with Sabonis and Pacers except Sabonis is at least dang near elite passer for a big.
