  1. You do you. We got our butt handed to us by Penn st. Let's hand out participation trophies.
  2. I started putting together an ikea shelf but I thought it took us 6.5 mins into the 2nd half to score. We struggle to break presses without a solid version of X.
  3. Fife is still out of coaching. Whatever he did, he did to himself. Reminder #7000
  4. Wow this is a shockingly bad take from a coach of 40 years.
  5. This came across my Facebook feed. Truly a loser mentality giving themselves mid season awards.
  6. Growing up in Southern Indiana I've always said the farther north you go the more rude people get. 10 years ago I'd blast people right back. You wanna play that game, OK. Now days, ya probably get shot so I stay right here in Hamilton County unless I have to.
  7. Being a fairly black and white person this too irritates me that's why I just choose to not care as much. I contemplated starting an atta a boy thread but Leal's been getting plenty of attention and praise so it's all good
  8. Far too long now recently, post Zeller and company and a few others, IU guys have been more about the photo ops. Not to take a cheap shot at Lander but too many have come here to expand their 'brand'. How about you go about your business, be about your business and watch the business follow you, instead of the other way around.
  9. Mac had 6 at the under 1830 the other night but only finished with 11. Goodness. Didn't realize how much he's been struggling. He's 8 of 31 the last 2 games.
  10. What is the definition of most valuable? Would it not be, if this player is removed our chances of winning would be 0, 10, 25, 50 %? Yesterday with Malik out. If Ware didn't do what he did, 0% chance IU wins. If Leal didn't do what he did, 25% chance IU wins. In my idiotic opinion, respectfully. I'm all ears if someone has a better way to put it. I never vote for a losing most valuable because they weren't valuable enough to win the thing. To each their own on that one.
  11. 🤷‍♂️either. I always thought it was essentially who had the biggest impact on winning, ie most valuable. Like last year a handful of times Trayce would have like 18, 14, 5 blocks but Tamar or some random finally hit 3 or 4 shots so there's a big debate. No. Really there isn't.
  12. There was a coach a few years ago, think it may have been Andy Enfield back at Florida Gulf coast, talking about his year one recruiting strategy was like hey, we are going all over the country and playing all these big teams. It also brought in a bunch of money for the program to do some things to improve.
  13. Can anyone explain tell what Leal said?
  14. I never thought he would be a stinker at OSU. Did anyone? He has truly disappointed. Don't think he's a bad coach. Kinda think he's a bad GM. And not necessarily talent. He's had boat loads of talent but his teams play as individuals and not as a team.
  15. This board is funny. We need an atta boy vote after wins. Ware again totally dominates, while partially injured. Pumped with a huge atta boy to our hometown boy Leal. Perseverance, good attitude, and refusing to quit, while being a great teammate and student athlete. Deserves a game ball. Keep it up. Now if Galloway could just never stink like that again, that would be great.
  16. Watched Houston out tough Texas at Texas in ot last night. I'd say Houston has everything they need to make a final four or better run. Top three scorers are guards. Their 'big' guys are like modern NBA dudes. Just strong atheltic guys, didn't see one attempt of back to basket stuff. I looked up their recruiting rankings over the last 4 years. One 5 star. Hit the transfer portal very nicely 2 and 3 years ago being rated 3rd and 4th transfer classes.
  17. Yep. I didn't even mention defense. But you nailed it.
  18. This notion really needs to stop. Yes there is a large difference. Currently our 3 guys, Mbako, Gunn, and Banks all can't dribble the ball. Our 4s Reneau and Walker, well we certainly don't want them trying to bring the ball up the court either. And only 2 of the 5 can shoot. So in summary, only 2 teams in the last decade have actually successfully deployed this mythological offense called positionless. Golden st with 3 of the greatest shooters in history Curry, Durant, and Thompson and one of the Villinova teams that had shooters literally everywhere.
  19. Been on an extended date weekend. Been reading and agree with both sides. TJD became a master of the pass out but reposition and get it right back, ready to attack again. Malik has room to grow. I think we can all agree with that. He's ahead of TJD in many aspects as sophomores.
  20. In the first half he forced up some crap being triple and even quadruple teamed. Galloway looked pissed. I told my wife I wish Galloway would go off on him right there. If you want to go pro, being a winner means passing out of doubles. Or triples.
  21. And then they'll go to the elite eight and Izzo still won't retire or ever be held accountable for have a trash program.
