I think having X for this game is huge, simply for his ability to defend. That is something we missed in the two regular season matchups.
I went back and looked. X has not played in our 4 game losing streak against Penn st.
Please keep the turnovers down and get this win.

Everything depends if Galloway can play effectively if at all.
Is he expected to play?

Woodsons offense Reese will be a high lottery pick. you think he'll play in the NIT game with us?
I only want him if he can play shooting guard

Ohio State coaching search thoughts from 11 Warriors...
With their lack of ethics, they'd kill it with Miller. Not sure what the Vegas odds are saying but I'm going Miller. Oats isn't leaving Bama for OSU. Easier job down there and probably less stress. May. Like us. Big risk. Can he keep doing it? Maybe.

my last post in this fine thread until we dust it off next year.
Dang. Respect to Payne. Most intelligent thing him and Woodson have said all year.

Intrigued. They were in a 3 way tie for 1st for conference. He scored at least 28 in 5 of the last 6 games.

Looked him up last night. He's like 155 lbs. Now if he's a straight basket getting gangsta, whatever.
Scored 17 on Kentucky, 11 on Villanova, who they beat.

Ware’s coming back.
he’ll work on his outside game and dribble drive. Go top 5 the year after.
he’ll make NIL bank next year.
I have no info at all. Woody needs him back so I’m betting there’s some gangsta shit worked up to make it happen.
I probably wouldn't recommend it to my own son but I won't be mad if it happens

UNF is where my mentor/former high school coach is an assistant at.
That's cool. The stats say the same as your guy. He definitely put up some stinkers in there. Wonder if he wants to be the guy? Likely.

Update from my mentor: He is very streaky…hot and cold. I think he is most successful as a volume guy. Not sure he can be very impactful if he is a 3rd option shooting 8 shots a game. He has as many 3-15 shooting game as he does 10-15 games. If you can live with the streaky results at the 8pt game to get the occasional 30pt game then it’s fine. He does a good job of creating shots and getting to the FT line most games. Also can’t guard his shadow.
Snap shot of his stats. Probably more highs than lows. He was hot in Dec. Avg 28.3 over 6 games.

They haven’t called out screens all year. Total pet peeve and inexcusable. You will consistently see screens called out at the HPER. It’s just basic.
So is blocking out. Why can't a coach with 45 years of high level experience get a team to block out and call out screens 30 games into a season?

Fan criticism is kinda every day stuff with a big program like IU basketball...
The last 3 weeks have been unreal though... So much BS...
And now a lot of the same people are turning on Galloway and Leal for defending their coach... For Christ sake they've been there EVERY DAY for 3 years... I'll take their word over pretty much anyone else on the planet on what kind of coach and person Mike Woodson is...
I haven't seen one post on this board resembling people turning on Galloway and Leal. You talking the twitter Facebook space?

That is kind of my point. I can't tell when someone is talking from the home page. I have to click further to look at the topics on the football thread. Not the end of the world.
Have you ever started a thread? Just do it and then Google iu football twitter and copy and paste some news. Like spring ball now less than 2 weeks away. Things are picking up. It's not buried if there has literally been no one posting content. Post away. If you post it, we will read and get involved. God knows we need a break from Woodson screwing the pooch discussion.

Gotta look for decommits.

You might be able to announce you are entering but you can't do anything until the 18th.
Oooo, legal tampering season or no? So dumb. I'm sure these dudes have heard from 100 schools already.

It is. The NFL talk just seems to dominate the IU football topic. Currently at 726 pages. When I look at the home page, its nice to see where there might be a new post and anything non NFL just gets buried.
Start a thread about spring practice, news and updates, scour Twitter like btownqb does for his baseball news and keeps us all updated on IU football news. I'd read it and engage. Last time anyone mentioned IU football related was feb 17th. Let's go. Be the change you want to inspire. We are IU, a football school.

It won't be until after we play our last game and we see who is not returning from the current roster. This could drag on for a while.
It's going to drag on but I won't be a bit surprised to see a quick commit. We have money, kids know it and we have minutes. Hulls and Walsh are probably sifting through conversations as we speak, as they should. Guys putting up points at bad small schools aren't the fish we want jumping in the boat but I some have already peaked my interest. And remember the quote late summer, early fall about being way more prepared for the portal next year? I would love for someone to explain to me what that means going forward.
