  1. Threw up essentially a jump ball kind of pass to half court
  2. I did too. But FUBo with essentially the same channel line up is $75/month. I just checked.
  3. Supposedly the radio for our game is on the varsity network. Is Fisch gonna be on the call for that? I've never used the varsity network for radio. Thanx
  4. Really sorry for you Dawg. They don't call them Man's best friend for nothing. Unconditional love every day, and no matter how hard you try (not you) to not get attached to them, you lose every time. For many of us it's like loosing a kid.
  5. Two hunters got a pilot to fly them to Canada to hunt moose. They bagged six. As they started loading the plane for the return trip, the pilot said the plane could take only four moose. The two lads objected strongly. “Last year we shot six and the pilot let us put them all on board. He had the same plane as yours”Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. However, even with full power, the little plane could not handle the load and went down a few moments after take-off. Climbing out of the wreckage, Brian asked Tommy, “Any idea where we are?”“I think we’re pretty close to where we crashed last year Brian”
  6. OT for Rutgers. Hofstra getting screwed big time by the refs. at least one is a B1G ref, and just some horrific calls against Hofstra. Game was more like 8 vs 5.
  7. Hofstra ties it with 2.2 sec left. Would love for RU to lose
  8. I was glad to see 8 B1G teams get in. I posted earlier I thought it would be 5-6. I've grown out of my hatred for almost all B1G teams. I'd rather see a B1G team advance over an ACC or SEC team. Do I like all the teams in the B1G? No...but I don't hate them anymore either. IF...we can find a way to play with intensity and focus, then I think we go at least to the S16. I guess we'll see.
  9. Morning guys. I wanted to sleep on the loss before posting, because I get too wound up during and right after a game. I watched the presser this morning, and Trayce & Woody confirmed what I was feeling all game (and all night) long. We didn't play with intensity for 20 minutes, much less 40 minutes. IMO, our shot selection from outside the paint was suspect, the ball stuck too much for too long of a time in JHS hands on offense, there was hardly any movement on offense to get open until TJD started to make his move, and our defensive intensity in the 1st half was abysmal. Other than a few high ball screens, I can't remember seeing any others in the game. (I'm sure there were a few, but certainly not many) I still contend we should make Gallo give a blood transfusion to the rest of the team in hopes of getting them to play harder. Gallo certainly isn't as talented as others on the team, but nobody, and I mean nobody outworks him on the floor.
  10. Relax guys. We started to play a little faster and harder after Race's dunk. They've shot lights out in the 1st half, we couldn't toss it in the ocean. Things will even out in the 2nd half.
  11. And some great put backs. He's gonna be a real stud before he's done.
  12. TJD with that incredible stat line, but a lot of "at-a-boys" to go around. JHS, MR, & Gallo for some great defensive pressure and Bates for stepping up in this game. Kopp for some really good shots along with some really good defense. I think Woody said it best. Total Team Effort.
  13. Glad to see this go to OT. Let's have 2-3 OTs. Wear them out.
  14. Gallo gets called for that all the time with ½ the touch.
  15. Call me crazy, but how can Robbie Hummel say that was a tough call on Beran. He was all over the PSU guy. He actually fouled him Twice.
  16. I'm probably wrong (wouldn't be the first or last time) but I think we'll be lucky to get 6 teams in. MSU's loss didn't help them at all. And since the selection committee (supposedly) doesn't look at conf records at all, according to Chris Reynolds, I don't think it's a lock for more than 6.
  17. And I believe Green (the ref) was also reffing a game earlier today too. So hopefully we'll only get so-so refs, not the horrible ones tonite
  18. When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. But, somehow I always had something else to take care of first, the shed, the boat, making beer.. Always something more important to me.Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point. When I arrived home one day, I found her seated in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewingscissors. I watched silently for a short time and then went intothe house. I was gone only a minute, and when I came out againI handed her a toothbrush.I said, "When you finish cutting thegrass, you might as well sweep the driveway."The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.
