New Series with Kansas

This is awesome - home and home! -
I am glad we would never over interpret a tweet from a college student on this board...
-
I do not even know how to interpret this, could you give us the "per 40"?

'24-'25 College Hoops Across the Nation(NOT IU!)

If last week was the only week of basketball, then sure. BUT PU has beaten teams with a pulse. I would like an explanation on how, with the results they have had so far, that UK or Texas are even ranked at all. If they had not started the season in the top 10, neither would be ranked. Heck if you put IU on their jersey and gave us the same results they would not be ranked. Arkansas does actually have a couple real wins... they may have been cheated. -
We earned the falling out. Do you think any team can blow a 22 point lead to Wisconsin? I do want to know how UK is still ranked...
-
I could see you anywhere from 2 to 8th; it is tight so far this year.

The games are to provide quality TV content... 😉

road is tough in the B1G... PU goes down -
I think it gives a chance. The past few years our starters were always gassed at the end of the game.

We need to keep looking for the assists

JMU actually looked pretty good from the part I saw. -
From the game I saw with Nebraska - stop verge and McGowen and we will be fine.

If they do not wake up against Tarleton, this will change. Brutal first half. -
Yep, setting the bar at the "any decent high school coach" level!
-
I guess we will find out soon if Woodson can coach better against a zone than Crean...

Nothing wrong with a "D and 3-er".

His game does not lend itself to a lot of foul shots

For me, this is THE preconference litmus test game. We need to be able to beat OK teams on the road in a hostile environment.

I am not disagreeing with the bolded at all. I do not consider KL as RP's OR XJ's replacement this year; we will need all three to perform at a high level to have a good season. None of the three players are perfect... I am not sure what "typically" means 4 games into the season (I do not count last year at all), but after he got his feet wet in the St. Johns game, he has stayed in front of guys for the most part...

"Out of control" does not mean a player lacks handle. Somebody with a good handle has good "ball control" - they themselves may be rushed or out of control. Watch the game again - he is able to dribble in traffic. Tamar is a better shooter and better defender - part of the defense is that Tamar already has the 20 extra pounds. But KL has better court vision and (in my opinion), slightly better dribbling skills. Both of them could work on 3 point shooting form for next year. EDIT: I am not knocking Tamar AT ALL - I am ridiculously high on Tamar; I think those two might turn into one of our best backcourts in recent memory. They have very complimentary skill sets.
