Thank goodness. I was worried when I woke up this morning that I had fallen asleep during the game and dreamt the end!

I would not say he is a punk, but there is no equivalency with planting two hands on the chest of an opponent and shoving to coming down on a ridiculous dunk and screaming. I would put money on the Nebraska player being surprised that TJD was T-ed up.

I have the same feeling at times, but I am leaning more and more to that Coach is playing chess while we are playing checkers. There is no question we lose the game last night if Coach had not done some "strange subbing" that a lot of us complained about earlier in the season. His goal is the tournament and winning some games there. I remember Knight blowing early season games to prove a point.

If we do not land him, then just tip the hat.

I kind of would like to see this. Durr seems to have the second best jump shot (after Duncomb; admittedly small sample sizes). Maybe it would not work...

+1 I was not there for the conversations, so I do not judge anyone's decision. Some players decided to leave, some stayed.

I do like that we are playing Kansas. I would love for that to turn into a rivalry.

Bate's shots were good shots, even if they did not fall.

To be honest, I never felt like crossroads was a rivalry game. For me we have two rivals: UK and PU.

I want to throw a shout out to XJ. Rob's first half and game winning shot overshadowed a spectacular performance by XJ. And to be honest, I think XJ's performance was at least as important in giving us a chance to win. Honestly, we needed a great game from a lot of people and we got it. XJ is criminally undervalued. He adds a lot of things that do not easily appear in the stats sheet.

He definitely has not seen a crowd like that at a basketball game in Europe.

I would love to hate the PU coach. Unless there is something I do not know about Painter, he always comes across as a respectable guy. Knowledgeable, funny... Not to speak heresy, but once we start dominating again I do hope that PU keeps their game at a high level so that the IU-PU game returns to being a national game and not the regional game it has become.

Honestly, it is clear that Coach likes having point guards. If Lander develops and Miro, Cupps and JHS all come, we will just see a lot of 2 point guard line-ups. Also, it seems that Coach wants two complete teams ("hockey" substitutions) - so we need quality depth.

With the matchups, this is a game where Duncomb could be useful.

There has got to be at least one student on the 7 year plan :).

I wish he was a former IU player; comes across as total class and completely knowledgeable. He seems to give us a fair shake as well.

We definitely never trailed and it was never closer than 4 after 12 minute mark in the first half.

I just realized we never trailed in this game. When is the last time we did that on the road?

Nebraska had to be weak with the officiating in this game. Any decent team would have won with those calls.
