Just kidding. Second half was kind of fun, but this just doesn't feel like a very talented team. 

I don't know. With the exception of the o-line (which, if true, will be a massive achilles heel in conference play), I do not feel like it's a question of talent as much as a question of prep, motivation, focus, execution, consistency.

In two games we've played two excellent quarters, two so-so quarters, and four awful quarters. So nowhere near "playing 60". Especially the offense, with Bazelak as the prime example. Majority of quarters he can't put the ball on an open man to save his life. Then, boom, like 3rd last night. The talent clearly is there.

Was thinking along the same lines. 2 games, but really only 1 legit good qtr of football in each game.

TOO much time and then a missed covrage.

What did they do to light a fire under Baze at the half? Looks like a totally different QB.

Suddenly Baze is threading the needle.

First big miscue by Idaho. Momentum has definitely shifted.

Put McCulley back at QB. Can't be more inaccurate through the air than Baze.

Almost managed to overthrow wide open Matthews if not for the circus catch.

The offense is a massive problem. But it also feels like we let down against what we thought was a "lesser" opponent after the opening win over B1G opponent. That would start from the top.

Look at that TOP dominance by Vandals. Ouch!

Yeah their QB makes Bazelak look like chopped liver. Well, Bazelak and his ovethrows down the middle do that by itslef.

Idaho treating us like a CYO team. The offense is particularly underwhelming. But we don't look like we deserve to be on the same field as them.

Well, full credit to the perseverance of Allen, the team, and the staff. You can question and criticize things at times, but you can never question the heart and grit. I was so disgusted with the offense/run game through three and a half quarters (and just flat sleepy too), that I succumbed and turned off. Only to wake this AM and view the remainder - a totally unexpected, miracle-finish victory. We looked so anemic offensively I thought there was no way despite IL's inability to put us out of striking distance. Well, I was dead wrong and I'm elated! 

B1G victory drought vanquished. D that last quarter was dominant. Playing 60 was awesome. Kicking game looks good and Matthews and Camper looked gave some hope in the WR room. Now, how much of the positives are partially to mostly due to IL's ineptitude down the stretch and/or the non-catch ruling against them in the 1st have that would have been a TD? 

The mission was accomplished in cardiac-kid fashion. The game was a must win. But there are serious concerns when we get to the teeth of a tough schedule with looked like a carbon copy of last year's o-line. No run game is an ominous portent of being dismantled against good teams. Enjoying the wild win and hoping (agains hope?) for improvement in trenches on O.
