  1. You got this man! It will help make your marriage even stronger!.......... hahahahahaha even I have to laugh at that one.
  2. WAIT! We better find out about his coordination to do 4 different things with his hands and feet, all simultaneously first. After all, he will be maneuvering around a wall that has water at the bottom of it on the other side. This could get very interesting, very quickly.
  3. I'm not involved in pharma much, but I can tell you that almost all medical devices build up inventory well before final FDA market launch approval. a day wasted is lost revenue!

  5. Ok, maybe not a Cocktail, probably more of a shot unless you are serious about your partaking. A Baby Guinness. Pour in the Kahlua, float the Bailey's on top.. Yummy.
  6. I wounder if his Dad knows anyone that could offer comments on areas of improvement?
  7. I’ve been ON FIRE in a couple DIY Facebook groups lately. Channeling my inner, Dad jokes super powers. one fellow asked for suggestions for a finish or surface treatment on the deck between the house and pool so his kids wouldn’t burn their feet from the sun making the boards too hot. I suggested that maybe Sandals would be something he should look into. I kill myself with this gift I have!
  8. I started life as a tool maker (18 yrs) and really miss twisting the knobs on the manual machines. I had a 3 paragraph rant all typed out about this, but deleted it. Without the skilled trades, life's going to be even harder going forward.
  9. My trailer will hold 3, heaped and patted down. 8 is a lot in my book. You may need an opiate pain killer later.. lol
  10. Thank you sir. All is healing well and I've even made a lot more progress on the shed. In my standard fashion, I'm 90% done with it so it's time to start on the next project ! lol
  11. The plumbing project that does not require 4 trips to the hardware.... doesn’t exist! On the bright side, gas is cheap right now.
  12. See, the world is just now understanding the man flu!
  13. YOu might start drinking when this project is over ! lol Good luck sir.
  14. Just imagine the reaction if/when the Washington models proves to be BS after they open up. This could get ugly, very very ugly.
  15. So you’re willing to take one for the team, that takes guts. You know that it’s about more than any individual, I celebrate and thank you! If only more people would think like you, thank you for your sacrifice sir.
  16. Cool! Good luck. I made cupcakes. lol
  17. I don't think that he was saying you are slimy, he thinks Politicians are as slimy as you think they are. But I could be wrong.
  18. Well they do have a proven, tested blueprint now. Now get in the cattle cars everyone.
  19. I've got a 14' 2 door JK w/ 4" and 35"s. I've put a rear bumper on it but that's about it. I always plan to do more but just never do for some reason. Also have a, 18' JL 4 door. Bone stock, it's the wifes. and an 07' Commander with 3rd row seating. IT's the wife and grand kids cool (not) bus. I've built trucks and jeeps all my adult life.
  20. Can't you just not fill it up above 3/4 of a tank? See, I'm a fixer! lol
  21. Totally unrelated to the subject but totally related to the topic of peer help. I'm a member of several DIY groups. The latest project that has my attention is one of a beginner wanting to set a hot tub, and he is asking for the appropriate way to create the footings for this hot tub. ... I've built everything from janky 10 x 10 sheds to 10,000 sq/ft building from designs in my head, so the responses were fascinating, in several different directions and all of them are correct, yet different levels of over kill to janky. But they are all extremely confident in their suggestions. Project: "10'x10' hot tub, how should I build the footings?" The peer review help, ranged from (all being EXTREMELY confident) lay some level stone pavers over a couple inches of crushed stone, too 6" of poured concrete with reinforced rebar and using fiberglass strand reinforced concrete. (FYI, 6" of crete will hold 1100 pounds per square inch. .. yes INCH. ) Anyway, all of these type conversations are great and I love them (and have learned A LOT!). Never forget though that everyone wants to be an expert while few are, but several experts can bring laughs to many while they exhibit their subject matter excellence.
  22. Brilliant about the oven! Chasing intermittent problems.... Always try to replicate the same conditions. If that wouldn't have worked, I would have thought a can of gas and a match.
  23. Probably not your issue but. I had the exact same condition with a vehicle 2 months ago. Followed the exact same steps you mention here. I personally tested the Alternator 3 times andf it worked perfectly. Come to find out, it actually was an intermittent short in the alternator. There was a single spot that if it stopped at that spot, it dead shorted the entire system, drained everything but not fast enough to let the smoke leak out of everything. I just post as it's "my" story and after 35 years of working on everything car/ truck/ tractor/boat/ motorcylce... had never saw it before.
