Finally got a chance to watch the game this afternoon. Was hilarious watching TJD trying to get that last assist. Thank goodness Trey was able to make it happen. Trey, Kopp, and Bates really stepped up this game. Was good to see. I feel like XJ really needs JHS on the floor to take off some of the pressure on him. Hope JHS is ready to go this weekend.

I don’t think it’s political and I’m sure most of us agree that our politicians are complete hacks and crooks.

Well damn. I’m at my in-laws and had to tape the game yesterday. Doesn’t sound like I’ll do myself any favors by watching it. Am disappointed we let this happen again in Rutgers. But, it’s a young season. I wonder what’s up with Race? He had the one really strong game, but doens’t seem like his old self.

We drove down here to Maryland early this morning. I gave the evil eye to Exit 9 on the New Jersey turnpike as we passed. We had our cat in her carrier in the back seat with my wife and it took a dump in it’s carrier. She’s an older cat and gets super stressed out traveling. I tried to convince my wife to throw the bag of cat sh*t at the Rutgers University sign if I slowed down enough, but she told me the evil eye was probably enough. I’m not convinced, but we shall see Sat afternoon. I hate Rutgers and only am in New Jersey to drive through it. Armpit of America is pretty accurate, since Staten Island is clearly the a**hole of America.

I just recall turnover numbers (and FT shooting) as being life or death, but now? Not so much. It’s kind of nice, isn’t it?

Anyone remember the last few seasons when we were freaked out over turnovers? I’m not even sure what they are this year, but I’m not stressing over them like I did under Crean and Miller.

Many may not remember, but before MSU and Wisc did this, IU excelled at this. We have been that team before. And we should be again this year.

Was finally able to watch the game. We DOMINATED them. No question or argument. Bacot knew he was in trouble early, so the shoulder grabbing excuse. Without the refs that was a 25-30pt beatdown. They literally never had a chance. TJD, JHS, and XJ were amazing this game, but Trey was just relentless on both ends. This team feels like the IU teams of old when I always expected a win every single game. You just go out there and dominate the other team and walk away with a dub. THAT is IU basketball.

Am really surprised, but shouldn’t be I guess when you consider the history. The league looked strong early on and I was thinking it was going to be even more of a slog this year. Maybe not.

I would say about 2/3 of my 50 employees were watching today. Most of them not from the US. I could hear the results as I was walking by. Was very tempted to watch the second half.

The World Cup is such a crazy circus here, with fans spilling onto the sidewalks and into the streets celebrating. You can hear the roaring of fans as you walk down the street and can’t help but stop to see the latest results. Has always been one of my favorite times. But this time it just feels so politically charged that I just can’t get into it. Just don’t care.

Nice! That smaller one is super cool. They both are, but that one reminds me of a Giant Mouse Nibbler. I bet that was the inspiration for the Nibbler. Spyderco and Benchmade are copied a lot, I assume.

Am glad you posted this, I keep thinking that the B1G is winning almost every game they play, but it only seems that way. Going to be an interesting B1G season.

Spyderco was he other brand that I was already familiar with - besides Benchmade. They make amazing knives and will probably be my next one. They do have a more tactical type look to them with the larger blade and that finger hole.

As usual for me, I’ve went pretty deep down the rabbit hole researching folding knives. Ended up buying a Benchmade Bugout (made in USA natch) and a set of really nice replacement scales. Scales should be here soon. Ordered from a place in Texas. Also just ordered a Giant Mouse Jutland. These are not made in the US, but made in Italy and their shipping headquarters are in Michigan. Seems like a lot of people are in to the cheaper Chinese knives - they look great and have decent blades, but I just can’t buy something made in China when there are better alternatives made right here. This is Giant Mouse I just bought. Am a sucker for safety orange. Also that blade shape just calls out to me.

True, it will. I just love seeing highly ranked teams come into the Hall to get spanked! Kansas will still be tough at their place though

Kind of bummed that UNC and Kansas lost. Would have made it sweeter to beat them both when they were undefeated.

I’m sure I’m jumping the gun, but I feel like our bench is better than anyone else’s in the NCAA if not better than 90% of the starters.
