'24-'25 College Hoops Across the Nation(NOT IU!)
ledies22 replied to rico's topic in General Basketball Discussion
Seems to be doing a pretty damn good job of coaching to me. -
spark notes version of the details?
-
in my personal league, I finished 2nd, outscoring everyone by 200+ points averaging 125-130 points. I scored 83 this weekend. bench wouldn't have been any help. I had to start Jaydin Reed. He was a last minute scratch I didint know about as I was sucking it up playing golf.

If IU is his final destination I don’t know if he would go to Louisville to rebuild for a couple years to then come to IU. -

I haven't been following ANY MLB offseason. @Seeking6 give me some good news!

That game was too boring. Shoulda made it closer.

I'm really glad you brought up those two name's specifically. We were never "in on" Timberlake. and he seems like he would solve all of our problem averaging 3.2 points, 27% from three, 31% overall FG, .5 assists, .5 TO. Caleb Love was weird on how it played out. It didnt seem like many people wanted him. Could he work well with XJ? He wasn't efficient. Me Ball. Then everyone wanted him. If the Zoom call thing is in fact true, which it seems to be, why would you even want the player. Something major happened on that zoom call to where Woody didnt like him, or he didnt like Woody. That screams it wouldn't have been a good fit. Next two names? We aren't arguing guard depth here. I am pretty sure we are all on the same page there.
-
Again, you are using current knowledge to form these arguments. Was it known Leal was gone in may? If so, show me where it was stated. you kind of arguing my point here. What were the guards we were “in on” to take that last scholly? Names? lastly, again you are distorting truths to argue points. When does a broken bone need to be in consideration for re-injury. I have had 5. Never broken them again. This is not a ligament issue. Concussion issue.
-
Leal has Covid 5th year still. What were the options at guard for the last spot? Calling XJ injury prone is a bit of a stretch even for this argument. missing time for a broken foot is not injury prone. He has played in 33, 33, 18 (sat out half the season to transfer, 34 games.

I get that part of it for sure. I think a part of that conversation was saving that for all of the '24 recruits we were supposed to get. with that spot we have 2 open remaining as it stands. KW going pro makes 3 I was okay with banking that at the time.
-
Not necessarily directed at you, but in general... This is the biggest complaint that grinds my gears currently. Well, "we need to shoot more threes." is, but this is close second. When MM and KW committed and signed with the program, no one batted an eye about roster construction. On the flip side, if we would have said... no thanks, there would have been even more talks about "missing" on guys. It's a catch 22 sometimes and us as fans can play the game as the results are coming in. Third thing that grinds my gears is me complaining about people complaining. so I will shut up

What a gorgeous night of 66 degrees here on SoFlo. It’s a beautiful night for people to get a little crazy and yell we aren’t shooting enough threes from the roof tops.

What's the difference between the first five and the last five?

I think we have learned you can’t have it both ways. Play 💯 and win. Any and all teams that win and have won toe the line, if not cross it. I think for the last, how long(?), have you had fire Tom Allen as your tag. Especially at IU you can start from the ground, scratch that below that, and win. I don’t understand you at all, as you are critical of every, little. Move. as I am sure you are old enough to realize every team in America “tampers”. We stand no chance if we want to hold the moral high ground. -
Yah, I was not being serious.

medical redshirt and return October of '24?

Driving up now… see nothing but a sea of IU red
