Its Barstool Sports. It is a part of their schtick. They are good at what they do because of their schtick. I dont mind something like this for a game that otherwise doesnt really matter or wouldn't typically draw in a lot of fanfare.

maybe it's just my tainted biased hatred for Aaron Craft, but I think he was the beneficiary of his reputation of a good defender. I just remember he got away with a lot. I have had a couple of beers since then though.

IU seems to have a couples guys a year with some talent, but the subsequent players need to be a bit better to help support. Seems like we have wasted quite a bit of talent at times without enough talented support. wouldnt be surprised if Lucas is gone after this year.

Couple of thoughts: Gabe Cupps... instant fan favorite. Love everything about this kid Semi quiet performances all around. IDK if that is a good thing or not. MR: 1 rebound is pathetic. However he may be the only guy i feel like... we need a bucket. go get one. MM: not going to over react. I think FGCU's small ball was the main reason for his playing time. I LOVE the XJ, GC, TG, MR, KW lineup. XJ: solid performance. I think we are going to miss a part of his game with TJD no longer here. KW: He needs to assert himself. Looks like he is hiding at times. C.J.: Excited to see him play more, but he has to earn it. He got lost on D a couple of times, and Cupps is going to eat his minutes. Walker: EOB (End of Bench). BAD on defense and anyone can chuck up 2 terrible shots. I would like to see them push the ball more often. Half court offense is not good. Robbie and the other nerd was making too much of a big deal about a 7 minute FG scoring drought in the first half. Yes, it is hard to score FG's if the other team is fouling you and you go to the line in nearly every possession in said stretch. Defense has to pick up and become top 20+. The offense is not going to carry us anywhere.

That’s because of the style of play due to Purdue and Wisconsin. They love slow down bruiser ball keeping the big ten stuck in old school play. i don’t know what IU having a better recruiting class in the last whatever years has to do with the price of beans in Mexico.

I think so too there’s three things 1) CTA doesn’t control the offense. With the change they played a tough half against Michigan, a full game against PSU, and in this scenario win 1 game we weren’t supposed to in Wisconsin, and then 3 more games against toss ups. 2) buyout 3) who’s his replacement. Not listed in order of importance.

If IU wins today and wins the very winnable rest of the games….. is that enough?

I didn’t watch. the games I have watched, we never played bad. We actually controlled the game and played well. Just couldn’t finish off some goals. Seems like that has turned around.

I am sure glad that IU’s program (staff, players, fans, et al) are new and inventive and not stuck in the old ways like some of the people on this board want to be.

They are playing much better currently. Even though the season was a bit disappointing, it seems like they are hitting their stride. I would rather be in this situation than in reverse order and stumbling late.

the toughest part about this is that IU football is not and has not been prominent. IU would be a tough final destination sell even for an IU guy, I would think. The second part of that is.... there isnt one. IU will need to take a flyer on someone, or if they want to go for proven winner with experience, someone a bit tainted like Pat Fitzgerald. Art Briles is a bit too much for me. But the latter seems to be an obstacle in itself considering IU usually likes the higher ground of being a figure of ethics and morals.
