Yes, Any IU fan would take either of those currently, but when the wins start coming, pretty good during the regular season with no hardware, speaking of UK,(Purdue at least has B1G ships) isn't good enough being bounced week 1 of the tourney, again speaking of UK.

What's up with this crappy argument that's been popping up? What's different this year than the last 3? What is IU doing that's different than UK, KU, Duke, everyone. You have NIL money, you go get players...? I'm not understanding. Are we really complaining that people are putting up money to try to have a successful year? Are we really that upset that we are trying to get players that may win us some games next year? Please explain to me.

Part of that is Cal's issue as he recruits the younger 1 and dones. I would hope it would be drastically less, as Gallo's class is the last to have the covid extra year eligibility, no?

i dont know of a comparison of this board to RR. The most commented thread still is fire mike Woodson even knowing he is returning next year, every thread turns into how terrible CMW is, and Dolson, and the BOT et al, our second best player this year (by a long shot) was being thrown to the wolves, we are already planning for our next coach, there were people that wanted IU to lose out this year to get rid of CMW, people are actually complaining if IU does well next year that CMW would hang around... to name a few things.... some of it is warranted, some of it is meh. hoping for losses to get rid of CMW (i did this!!!) not necessarily just for the end of this year, but for the entirety of the next season and piling everything else in there, i would say has toxicity in it.

I mean both can be true. Kentucky is just another stratosphere.

Ehhh 38% is not the lower end. its the average. His last 5 games he shot 27-58 47%. But earlier in the season on a 13 game stretch he shot 23-87 26%

I dont disagree with that. But we do have to remember MR was only a sophomore after not much PT freshman year. Of course there are things for him to work on, but i dont think anyone had MR putting up some of the stats he did this year. Its extremely hard for me to throw away MR when the cupboards are already bare. By all means, if we can recruit over him, so be it. to me no one is safe from last year including the managers.

2 posts, 3 wings and 2 guards is where my head is at. as far as who? dont know. get 4-5 now, then the 2 or 3 best available in April/ May. Hopefully we are in the Tennessee/Ledlum position in April/May and try to recruit over everyone.
