  1. Scott Dolson getting it done at Indiana. The rest of the big ten want him extended stat!
  2. And this is a perfect example. Apathy and acceptance. Nobody cares that it's amateur hour at Indiana so why should the administration care?
  3. Most Universities treat athletics as a business and do whatever it takes to put the best at every position yo achieve maximum success. Indiana treats it like glorified intramural. What has Scott Dolson achieved to be the Athletic Director at a power 5 university? Can you envision the President of Indiana personally negotiating to bring in or keep a top shelf basketball or football coach like Michigan is doing? Does the state of Indiana, alums, boosters even care that their state program doesn't care about athletics and is backwards and antiquated? Questions to ponder this weekend.
  4. He was an embarrassing hire. Our own fanbase was disappointed. They had to throw in Fife and Matta to make it more palatable. The rest of CBB world was laughing at us.
  5. Frans son said that Indiana had no idea how to attack a zone. Some things never change. Good job Indiana! https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2023/01/06/iu-basketball-iowa-connor-mccaffery-says-hoosiers-were-lost-in-zone-defense-mike-woodson/69784165007/
  6. Have faith, guys. We CAN win this game. And I think we will.
  7. You and I don't get paid millions of dollars to make those decisions. If you want to be the AD of a school with this history, you had better be able to get this stuff done or GTFO.
  8. Those two programs are on cruise control. They don't NEED a big hire yet. Maybe they will, maybe they won't but they are letting K's guy have a shot and UNC was just in the title game. We'll see if it continues. What did Kentucky do when they missed on Gillespie? Did they hire another Gillespie? They went out and got John Calipari and wrote him a blank check. That's how you remain a blueblood. Kansas didn't mess around when Roy left for UNC. They went out and got Bill Self. Indiana doesn't treat ITS OWN PROGRAM like a blueblood. Why should anyone else? Mike Woodson? Archie Miller? Are you kidding me?
  9. Yep. Always an excuse why others can do it but not Indiana.
  10. USC went all in and hired Lincoln Riley and he turned it around in one year. It's important for them to be a blue blood. Why can't Indiana basketball do this? Or do they just not want to be a blue blood again.
  11. If you want to regain blue blood status, you have to go out and get a coach to get you back. Saban wasn't the greatest ever until he got to Alabama. He was great, having won a title already at LSU and coaching in the NFL. But, coupled with the history at Alabama, he became a monster. Kansas goes out and gets Bill Self, Kentucky goes out and get John Calipari and Indiana goes out and gets cruddy coaches who have no idea how to build and maintain a great program. And you guys wonder why they are still blue bloods and Indiana is still a has been.
  12. ...they do what Alabama football did and hire a Nick Saban. Until they are able to make a hire like that, they will continue to be dead.
  13. We are back to where we were under Knight. Circa the Pepperdine game.
  14. Need o bring Sampson back. https://youtu.be/xSZ9xkiBywc
  15. Who is favored? How do you guys like our chances?
  16. I just returned home from a four month African excursion. Did the football team make a bowl?
  17. That's ridiculous. Every year it's the same thing. Can't shoot threes.
