This Leal Gunn discussion is interesting. Many on this site asked for more Leal minutes several times in early season. I don’t want to get into the “athletic” label because some people use it with a bias toward physical traits imo. But, Leal clearly should have been utilized more by cmw all season, because AL shows a high bball IQ more than anyone on the team. He quickly knows what to do, where to be, gets there and performs. His fundamentals are top notch. I like his energy, positivity, leadership and unlike XJ, MR, MM et al, rarely wastes time pounding his chest or engaging with refs. His game-saving plays were not flukes, imo, but resulted from being in the right spot. I will enjoy him again next year.

And, not like we haven’t seen him 2x this year.

We must shut down the little guy to win. Then, let’s see our star freshman get hot. Feed Ware and we’ll beat ghe Huskers. Go Hoosiers.

Cmw just said some nice things about AL. BUT the play he called was for XJ to shoot!! WTF Wasting your chance to use Ware. I can’t believe that was his first choice.

It's our 3rd try to beat them this season. If we cannot, that is a huge blot on CMW. I like our chances so long as Ware has a big game (plenty feeds to him), Mgbako contributes over 10 pts, X has just 1 turnover and we don't crowd the paint with W and Malik. Go Hoosiers p.s. how about we shoot 70+% FT's, too.

I agree that PG is top issue. Lets get a proven consistent guy and backup with at least two years resume. A LEADER. Then, hope mbako is back. The guy has a pretty shot. A big with strong fundamentals would be nice. Box out, protect ball and high I Q. Knows how to quickly pop out as needed. Above average passing skills. Go Hoosiers
