Reacher
I won't miss ESPN slobbering all over the ACC. A Big 10 vs Big 12 would be an adequate replacement. Those teams out west need a little more competition so they aren't seeded as favorably come March.
go_iu_bb
Part of this is likely largely due to the B1G not having a TV deal with ESPN, but another part is that the B1G has been winning this match up. ESPN doesn't want the ACC to look bad. Edited November 29, 2022 by go_iu_bb

Now, it's more geared toward pre game analysis and a bunch of talking heads and commentators that would rather shock than actually inform... There's a huge void for some network to fill... Just show highlights for games from the night before from the 4 major sports...

Guarantee there's a direct correlation between that move and their viewership decline. Probably not the only reason but I'd challenge anyone who says it had no effect.

It seems like the other sports networks had gone to that kind of shows where it is just two guys arguing. Must be people out there that watches it but have no idea how anyone can enjoy those shows. kyhoosier29
Disney bought ESPN correct? That speaks volumes as well.
