Hoosier987 Posted April 3, 2023 Report Share Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) Certainly not trying to “sound the alarms” but it’s imperative we have high impact transfers this portal period. We need to be winners this off-season. As much as Cupps, Newton and Sparks could be solid additions to the program, not all three, if any, are drastically going to move the needle for next year, which leaves us where we are regarding the portal. It would be a tough pill to swallow if we had a down year next year. This program needs consistency… and in a positive way. We need high level players that fit our program and I believe Love is one of those especially with the right coaching from Woodson. But if it's about which school has a better basketball program or better fan base, it's not close. It's IU 100%. Fan attendance as one example.
