If that does happen, that along with some of the other stuff going on might kill my fandom which I never thought could happen. I could see this move as a football move only and keeping the NCAA intact for all of the non-revenue sports plus keeping the hoops tournaments in place. I'm kinda speaking hypothetically here. I'm not making any kind of predication, though it would make sense from a football standpoint to keep group of 5 schools out and this way they can keep the popular hoops tournament intact. Maybe when they started losing court cases like losing the control of TV rights back in the 80s. That's when the $$ really started growing...
