When it comes down to it, it’s generally a matter of personal opinion and what era you’re talking about. What would Wilt have done in the 90s? What would MJ have done in the 2010s? What would Curry have done in the 70s? There’s no definitive answer and there never will be. It all just degrades into name calling and mindless bickering back and forth. Rant over. As you were. We can argue semantics, but there is a difference between 'being the 'best' and being the 'premiere'. The Lakers aren't the best in the NBA Western Conerence. They are the premiere. The Yankees aren't currently the best MLB team.
