Playing at home, guys are pretty likely to make wide open 3s.  Maybe on the road they're a little tighter.  I do think scheduling philosophy needs to change.  Why not play a few tough non conference games?  Everyone else does.  This is really embarrassing and a major, major setback.  Very unlikely it would have been this bad if they had played some tougher competition.  I got tired of ESPN bringing up the schedule in the FSU game but you have to give them credit, it's really come home to roost.

I said 500 in conference and making the tourney would be a successful season. People let their expectations get put of whack again . Even going 500 may be difficult seeing how good the top big ten teams are.

Good news is there are 20 minutes left and it's easy for a team with a big lead to let off the gas pedal, especially teams that shoots out their arses in the first half. There's still a lot of time left to turn the tide and make this a game.

They are shooting 62%. We are at 33% both of those will revert to the mean in the second half. Hope that will be enough

We have a half to improve as a team.  Winning today is pretty much out of the question, but today is not the season.

I'd consider 8-12 in conference pretty good for this team.  The conference schedule is very difficult this year.

Next years non conference schedule is tougher.

I actually had more confidence in us winning vs Florida state than Wisconsin on the road. Even if we played a harder schedule this is just one of those places and teams that are hard to beat at home.

In the Big Ten, Archie went 9-9 then 8-12. I hope we can finish over .500 in conference when this year is over.

How about this- let's make it NINE wins is a push.  10 and more you win.  8 or fewer I do.  With 20 conference games, sounds good to me.  St. Jude uses a pretty high amount of donations for administrative expenses, would rather a different charity, but OK.
